You remember when Samuel L. Jackson read the popular bedtime fable “Go the F**k to Sleep?” Then Brian Cranston read “You Have to F**king Eat” and I asked everyone to come up with the next book in the trilogy along with who would ideally read the audio version.
Note: If you haven’t read that blog post, you really should. I think “Give Me Back My Fucking Phone” read by Jack Nicholson was my favorite.
Now, a new version of “Go the F**k to Sleep” is here, courtesy of Vanity Fair and Jennifer Garner. Sure, Samuel L. Jackson’s version is funny, but there is something immensely satisfying about lines like “I know you’re not thirsty, that’s bullshit” coming out of Jennifer Garner’s mouth.
If you are like me, you imagine Jennifer is a total Celebrity Supermom. Yet, Jennifer Garner relates to the power struggle and parental mind game that is bedtime routine, too!
Celebrity Supermoms, they are just like us.
WARNING: You may want to ensure your children are out of the room when you watch this video. Shit gets real.

This website kills the eyes.
This just makes me want to go listen to “You have to F*cking Eat” narrated by Bryan Cranston. I love that one!
I loved this!! Where can I find the other readings! I especially would love to hear Jack Nicholson!
Samuel L read it so much better than she
Can’t wait for Darth Vader’s voice telling someone to wipe their f’cking ass…????????????????
I really needed this pick-me-up today! Thanks for the smile! We as parents must remember to have a sense of humor!
I loved the version by Noni Hazelhurst. I grew up watching her as a presenter on Play School, reading children’s books, so it was hilarious watching her read Go the f*ck to sleep.
