On Oscar night, Harlow wowed in a Tate & Tucker dress, Tea Collection leggings, pink unicorn slippers from Costco, a tiara that she received in a birthday party goodie bag and a bracelet stolen from her big sister. Of course, we didn’t really go anywhere and she was in bed before the Oscars started, but that has never stopped Harlow from looking her best for a big event!
Below are 27 kids dressed up for Oscar night (or maybe “on” Oscar night is more appropriate)— what they were wearing, who styled them and if they pulled off the look.
SPOILER ALERT: Toddlers can pull off basically anything.
Tristan made a splash on the beige carpet wearing a thrift store sweatshirt paired with a clothespin chic hairstyle. His stylist? His older brother.
Abigail stunned the crowd with a vintage shawl and floral headpiece found in her dress-up box. The tutu is a bold choice but it all comes together with dollar store Minnie Mouse shoes.
Addie broke the gender barrier with an over-sized Old Navy t-shirt and a hat sized for a grown man. Rumor is there was a very fashionable pair of Pampers underneath that shirt but NO PANTS!
Everyone expected Adria to wear something traditional to the big event but instead Adria went full-on NINJA in Costco socks, Target leggings and a Patagonia vest,
Annabelle sported a vintage top and Harlow Jade bell bottoms but what really makes the throwback 70s look work is the over-sized Gap Kids sunglasses.
Usually stars channel Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn on the red carpet, but Ava Scarlett decided Oscar night’s hairstyle icon was Marge Simpson. She completed the look with a hot pink Old Navy hoodie, silver sparkle leggings and Ugg boots that are one-size too small but crazy expensive, so her mom keeps jamming those little feet in.
Avery’s stylist forgot to show up so she was forced to put together her own outfit. She ended up wearing a Carter’s shirt, a Columbia hat and Hello Kitty Crocs. Pants are TBD but I’m sure she’ll figure it out!
Bailey looked better suited for the ranch than the red carpet, but somehow the Sheriff Calie hat, ice cream sunglasses and a cowgirl play dress from Walmart all came together. Maybe it was because we were all distracted by Bailey’s hot date— Buzz Lightyear.
Bethany wore a Cinderella-inspired dress but shook things up by pairing it with Frozen-themed shoes. She also repurposed a pettiskirt as a scarf proving she can think outside the traditional Disney Princess box.
Brye choose to ignore seasonally appropriate clothing and opted to wear a Halloween t-shirt from Target paired with bubble shorts from Naartjie and fake Uggs purchased by Grandma. Is it summer? Is it fall? Is it winter? Brye doesn’t care as long as it’s in style.
Charlie showed up in what we call a “Canadian Tuxedo”— jean on jean. The shirt is Osh Kosh, the jean are Next and the boots are Red Bands. I bet they love Charlie in Winnipeg!
Eleanor loves to pair super short skirts (or is that just a top?) with rain boots (even when it’s not raining) in what is usually a “fashion don’t”, but Eleanor is so adorable, she totally pulls the look off!
Eva stunned in a floor length hot pink princess nightgown from Target but didn’t let the black tie nature of the big night put a damper on her personal style. She proudly pulled up her nightgown to reveal pink cowboy boots from Cavender’s. Leaving the tag still on the boots was definitely a bold choice! Perhaps she is returning them tomorrow?
George doesn’t need pants to look his best. He wore a raccoon applique shirt from Mini Boden, Target socks and a diaper by Huggies. The matchbox car accessory completes the look!
Hannah is such a huge star, she often tries to disguise herself with a knit cap and not one, but THREE pairs of sunglasses. Toddler Celebs can never be too cautious on the red carpet.
When Harrison couldn’t find the perfect outfit in his own closet, he made the smart move of raiding his dad’s clothes. This look is somewhere between a Hobo and an extra in a Macklemore video making it truly a Harrison original.
Holden took totally traditional attire (Gap shirt and Carters skinny jeans) and added a little extra flair to make the look veer slightly left of center. After all, what looks better with Camouflage rain boots than mom’s fake pearl necklace?
In a totally embarrassing move, Jackson also wore camouflage rain boots. Thankfully, he styled his completely different with Carter pajamas, an Easter fedora and a jacket worn only on one arm.
Jackson went for a Mardi Gras themed outfit, but prefers clothes hand sewn by his Momma over designer duds. To further accentuate his DIY look, he sported a crown made by his daycare teacher.
Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with their outfit on the big night. Was Judah offended by his Wonderkids gloves? His Jumping Bean pamajas? His boots from Carters? My guess is it’s the snowball messing with his personal space.
Maverick always makes a statement when he knows the paparazzi is around. This statement is “Nobody can pull off suspenders with a diaper and tie, except me.” He’s right, folks. Don’t even try it.
Minnie is wearing super girl “pow” barrettes, Spiderman webbed sunglasses and a Spiderman jacket handed down from her big brother. Her red tutu says, “Girls can be Superheroes too.” I agree, Minnie!
Owen is one of the few men in Hollywood that knows bald really pairs well with a bowtie. He completes the look with a Janie and Jack blazer, Baby Gap pants and Gymboree boat shoes. I see a “Best Screenwriter” award in his future!
Stella looked amazing in a matching shirt and leggings from Target but all anyone could talk about was her suddenly full head of hair. Was it extensions? A wig? A growth supplement? Stella kept everyone guessing all night long.
Izzy has been Target’s muse for quite some time and stayed loyal to her favorite designer. She’s wearing a Target hat, a Target rain jacket, Target mittens and Target boots. Just don’t tell Target that her pajamas are from Carters, otherwise Target might back out of dressing Izzy next year.
William is wearing a Joe Fresh zip-up hoodie with camouflage pants, but the real showstopper is the headpiece by Canada Post. We caught this picture seconds before he scrawled “I am not famous anymore” on it with a Sharpie and then ran off to hang out with Shia LaBeouf.
There you have it! Thanks to everyone who submitted pics and I can’t wait to see what all your toddlers wear to the Oscars next year.

OMG! So excited to see my daughter Bailey on here! Thanks for choosing her. 🙂
OMG Maverick is hysterical! Love it! My kiddos were sound asleep and failed to put on a fashion show for me!
So sad my son didn’t make the cut. But these outfits are pretty adorable and funny.
Vivian wowed everyone with an orange pajama top, a blue tutu, a green winter hat, a diaper made by Pampers, and fluffy purple unicorn slippers from Wal-mart.
She also had a hot pink purse, a princess crown bought at Costco, and an old necklace from… TEETHING!
She was in her crib of course, because the Oscars are too hard to stay awake for.
The brown teddy bear from Grammy truly completed the look after she went to sleep.
