Congratulations to the Liam, the winner of the Evil Baby Glare-Off! My condolences to his parents, who actually have to sleep at night with this evil creature in their home.
I’m sure Liam isn’t terrifying all the time right?
Oh, thank god.
To put this whole evil contest to bed once and for all, I asked all the parents of the kids in the Glare-Off to reveal their evil baby’s good side.
I’m calling them “Baby Jekyll and Hyde” (thanks to a suggestion from Michelle), and I think you’ll find evil can be pretty cute when it wants to be.
Wait. Is evil in a cute package even scarier??? I still don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight.
Liam will take home the grand prize package, including a framed poster of the Evil Baby Glare-Off tournament bracket.
If you would like to order your own copy of this year’s Glare-Off poster, you can buy it here.
Liam will also win an $100 gift card to Little Hip Squeaks, a $50 gift card to Ladida Boutique, a pair of Freshly Picked baby moccasins, a copy of NY Times best-selling booking “I Heart My Little A-Holes: A Bunch of Holy-Crap Moments No One Ever Told You About Parenting” and most importantly, a Mommy Shorts Mug.
Second, third and fourth place won’t leave empty-handed. Mainly because I am afraid of making her angry. Caitlyn, Maddox and Elijah will be going home with a Mommy Shorts Mug and their own copies of “I Heart My Little A-Holes” by Karen Alpert.
There is also a giveaway winner for each day of the glare-off.
The DAILY GIVEAWAY winners are…
Monday’s First Round: Kelly M wins a copy of my “I Heart My Little A-Holes” for guessing at least two of the final four correctly.
Tuesday’s Second Round: Lorraine N won an $100 Little Hip Squeaks gift card for her question, “Which evil baby silenced the lambs?”
Wednesday’s Quarter Finals: Jessica S wins a pair of Freshly Picked baby moccasins for being TEAM LIAM.
Thursday’s Final Four: Breenah wins a Mommy Shorts Mug for telling me she wants to see more of what Mazzy and Harlow are up to in NYC.
Friday’s Finals: I asked everyone to confess their most evil parenting moment. I think Katie’s takes the cake…
Congrats, Katie, you are the most evil parent amongst us. (Nah, we’ve all been there.) Your evil parenting moment just earned you a $100 gift card to Ladida Boutique.
Bet you never thought anything good would come out of that, did you?
Hope everyone enjoyed the glare-off!
Henry vs. Elijah? Congrats to the top 4!!
I love this contest! I’ve been trying to catch my eldest with a glare since the first evil baby glare off. Unfortunately he just has too much sparkle in his eyes. But my second, Liam, he can give a person a stare down! True, this photo was caught mid yawn, but I can assure you that his yawns got pretty terrifying. In his first 9 months of life I can count on my fingers how many times he slept longer than 2 hours. Yawns didn’t mean sleep, just that he was getting more cranky.
As for my parenting fail. That would be repeatedly telling my 4 year old that I couldn’t play because I was busy refreshing the Mommy Shorts page to see who won!
Congrats to Liam! He beat my Kinleyin round 2 with his seriously scarey yawn! 🙂
They are all so cute. My 9 yo gives us a pretty evil stare down when we don’t let him play Minecraft but he is too old to get in to the contest.
I am laughing SO HARD that I won for Most Evil Parent! I totally have more stories, but I refuse to share them for fear of people thinking I really AM a bad parent. Thanks for making me feel good about my bad parenting! 🙂
That poster is awesome. Ellen
I’m happy that my little beastie, Sophia, got in in the top 6. But heyyyy, I also want to have the A-Holes book. Oh well. Thanks, Ilana! 🙂
Hi mommyshorts! This is elijah’s mom. How do we claim our prize?
