Giveaway: $200 Gift Card to Babies"R"Us & Pampers Baby Fresh wipes
This month, numerous milestones have been reached and checked off by both of my daughters. Here are two equally big pieces of news…
1) Harlow started walking.
I don't have a good video yet but she's taken at least ten steps on three different occasions. Unfortunately, every time I take out my camera to film her, she lunges for it and messes up her stride entirely.
In case anyone is keeping score at home, Harlow started just shy of 11 months. Yes, I know this will make life more difficult. But I'm still gonna brag about it.
2) Mazzy started pooping on the potty.
Let's be clear. She still fights the urge and holds it in way longer than I think is healthy. But she has now pooped on the potty four times. The first time it happened, Mazzy got up in the morning, walked into the bathroom on her own and two minutes later, yelled, "Mom!!!! I pooped in the potty!!!!"
I walked in and without missing a beat, my daughter deadpanned, "WHERE'S MY PRIZE?"
I told Mazzy we could go to Babies"R"Us that afternoon and she could pick something out herself.
Then I patted myself on the back because, no joke, Pampers had just given me a $200 Babies"R"Us gift card as part of a Swaddlers promotion. The timing could not have worked out better.
That day, I left work early to pick Mazzy up from school. Then we walked over to Babies"R"Us to buy Swaddlers for Harlow and a potty training prize for Mazzy.
I'm pretty sure "The Circle of Life" was playing faintly in the background.
The top floor of Babies"R"Us has tons of toys and Mazzy walked slowly down each aisle to make sure she had selected the best prize possible. This was serious business.
I had to steer Mazzy away from an enormous Cars-themed couch and a dollhouse the size of our apartment, but eventually it came down to a Team Umizoomi set and a Cars-themed LEGO racetrack. Finally, in a surprise twist, Mazzy spotted a talking Daniel Tiger and was instantly smitten.
Even better, Daniel Tiger has an on/off switch.
You'll notice that her hand briefly grazed a shirtless Ken doll. I breathed a sigh of relief when she passed it over. Thank god, we are not at THAT milestone.
With our gift card, we also bought Harlow a walker, her first sippy cup, new pacifiers, Puffs, Gerber GoodStart (I'm down to one pumped bottle of breastmilk a day) and her first pair of shoes with a sole— she wore them to my cousin's wedding that I talked about yesterday.
Mazzy made out with a new bath toy and a puzzle of the world from Crocodile Creek.
Whether it’s your baby's first tooth, first steps, or *ahem* first poop on the potty, Babies “R”Us is a one-stop shop providing all the advice and products you need to help your baby reach each milestone. They now carry the new-improved Pampers Swaddlers in sizes 4-5, so moms can continue to use their favorite diaper as their baby grows.

Other Pampers improvements include increased absorbency speed for Cruisers and Baby Dry. You can find all these Pampers products, including everything you need for your Baby’s Milestones, at Babies"R"Us.

I am a FB fan!!! My daughters latest milestone is being able to jump with both feet off the ground at the same times! We love Babies R Us!!!!
I follow you on Pinterest and I repinned this!
My 5 month old is sitting unassisted!!! Today was the first time any longer than a second or two!!
My 8 month old started crawling! And my 2 year old ate pureed food. (Its a HUGE milestone for a kid with severe oral aversion!)
My 3 year old daughter pooped on the potty on her own THIS MORNING, instead of her Dora panties. I’m pretty sure angels sang in the bathroom and carried her to the kitchen to put 2 princess stickers on her potty chart.

Today my 8 month old pulled himself up and scooted on along the coffee table. Good thing we got a soft ottoman instead of the wood and glass table we had before
The last milestone that my baby passed is being born! (He is 2 weeks old today 🙂 )

My four month old started solids and eats better than my three year old already! Crazytown.
My 20-month-old has started to string words into sentences! Now she is giving orders and I’m trying hard to convince myself that I’m still in charge around here….
Pinned it!
6 1/2 month old boy started pulling up onto feet. Almost 3 yr old girl recently started singing ABC song
My daughter can dress herself at 2. Cannot use the potty. She likes the corner of the bathroom better.
My almost four year old can spell her name and her baby sister’s name. My 3 month old just got her first head cold…not fun.
My 8 month old just started really crawling. Watch out 3-year-old brother, he is coming for your action figures.

Grayson started asking to sit on the potty.
at 9 months, my baby girl said the sweet word that ever exited “mama”. I can listen to her say mama forever.
My son’s recent milestone has been crawling. My last milestone was baby proofing the house.
My ten month old son took his first few steps! Of course, I was the last to get to see this (he knows if I know he’s walking…he will ALWAYS be walking) 🙂
My 39 months old daughter is finally moving out of the crib this weekend… It was breaking my back to put a 38″ tall sleep sack wearing toddler in the crib.
Weening sleep sack is another story. She only has about 1″ left lengthwise. Does anyone know who makes sleep sack longer than 38″ (which is biggest size out in the market)?
My 2 and 3 year olds Are in the middle of the potty training milestone. Fun times.
I’m a fb follower 🙂
Fb fan and Pinterest pin. My 7 week old is smiling and my 2 year old can say his abc’s.
Pinned it for a second entry!
I subscribe to your blog and follow on Facebook. My baby girl has just discovered her feet!
My 9m old took his first steps with a walker. Of course this happened on the nanny’s watch but she took a video so I’ll always have it to watch.
Image pinned on Pinterest!
She started to crawl super fast, from zero to 60 in less than a day.
My baby boy just turned 10 months, and we were so excited when he recently began saying “Dada”! His first word was “mama” and of course I was thrilled, but after a while Dad started feeling left out. Now all he’ll say is Dada! Haha. We would love to win a gift card, as it’s been a struggle for our family lately. Good luck to everyone!! 🙂
I’m also following Mommy Shorts on Pinterest and pinned the graphic! 🙂 Thanks!!
My recently turned 1yr old has just taken his 1st couple of steps…time to do some serious wobbly baby proofing in our house!!! 🙂 BTW, <3 Pampers, Babies R' Us, & your blog!!! 🙂
My 17 month old is following directions really well lately…at least when she feels like it!
My 3 month old baby boy just laughed for the first time!

Dual Milestones here. Olivia 26 months- Moved into her twin size bed- Slept in it 3 nights in a row!!! And Little 2 month Zoë just got her first set of inoculations. Followed on Pinterest too! 🙂
My 8 month old just started crawling a week ago. Exciting and terrifying all at once!
My daughter is 19 months and has been learning a new word or two each week. Besides throwing tantrums and running away at all times, that is the only recent milestone I am bragging about. Especially since her new one is Bumble Bee and it sounds like bububububububee!
Pinned it!!!
Justin started walking at 11 months!!!! And now he has learned that items can go inside other things like buckets/ bags etc.
Is climbing and trying to kill himself by jumping off a milestone because if it is we reached it! Facebook fan too!
my baby girl is 4 weeks on Friday and we’re hoping she’ll finally have reached the “back to birth weight” milestone. Trying to breastfeed her and she’s just not getting big enough 🙁
pinned it!
My 4 month is finally happy just chilling, my 3.5 year old wakes up at the crack of dawn but now turns on the tv and helps herself to breakfast. My almost 2 year picks out his ear wax and DOESN’T eat it. That’s a milestone in my book.
The baby just turned one, so walking is the big one we’ve mastered. Still face planting here and there. But walking 99% of the time. Pinned over at…

My 9 month old has started saying “Amen” at the end of our prayers. So stinking cute.
Got him talking in 3 languages, sort of.

My 10 month old just started walking last week! I was so excited for her, but also screaming NOOOOO! She’s my third so I know what I’m in for now that she’s more mobile.
The last milestone we crossed off at our house was using a regular cup instead of a sippy. Now we’re working on potty training.
My just turned one year old finally started to crawl!!!
I also pinned this on my Pinterest!
My son just cut all of his first year molars at the same time, that was “fun” and my 3 year old just had her first professional pedicure, because my sweet genius girl told her daddy she wanted to take her mommy to the “polish” store for my birthday. I had my doubts but it was actually really fun and SURPRISE, relaxing. Eve charmed the ladies who did our nails, and held still, despite being their youngest ever client.
My three year old said excruciating the other day and I was absolutely floored. “Mommy, I like excruciating my vegetables.” SO it wasn’t used in the right context, but still pretty impressive….
My 6 month old had his first solid food! He made faces and noises like he was doing tequila shots.
I’m a fan on FB. My just-turned-2 daughter seems to pick up a new skill everyday, but as far as an actual milestone goes, I guess that would be giving up the binky (except at night). She spits it out on her own first thing in the morning and tells us “big girls don’t need binkies!”
My 7th month old is teething as we speak– teeth numbers 5 & 6!
Well my baby is still about 11 weeks away from entering the world, but his/her latest milestone seems to mastering rockette style kicking 🙂
I also repinned on PInterest!
My babes last milestone was standing!!! 😀
my six year old was finally potty trained (for the third time) in August. But we’ve been back off the wagon since mid-September. sigh…
I don’t do facebook, but I pinned on pinterest!
The last milestone crossed off at our house was our first cross-country plane ride (from North Carolina to Oregon). While trying to get my 3.5 year old to poop on the potty during our 56min layover in Salt Lake City, I instead got kicked accidentally and my big toe nail ripped completely off! My 4 month old daughter pooped in all her spare clothes in the first hour of our trip, and I almost got strip searched at security for wearing an underwire bra! Good times!
My daughter learned to climb, oy vey!!!
Follow you on Pinterest as well! Thanks for the chance!
It looks like our next milestone coming up will be weaning my 21 month old off the boob. We started this week and so far so good!
My fetus has developed an immune system. Yay!
My 3 Year Old is Dressing Herself And Just About Out Of Pull Ups!
My 5 Year Old Just Started Kindergarten All Day And Can Write His Full Name With Out Help!
I’m following You On Pintrest And Repinned The Image! Thanks!
My son has not had a bedtime accident in five days! Woo hoo!
We are celebrating the milestone of Almost sleeping through the night. He wakes up twice maybe, but it’s a huge improvement from three months ago! We are also celebrating the milestone of his first smiles. It’s a blast!
I pinned the graphic! http://www.pinterest.com/pin/252412754088926275/
Our latest milestone was *sniff* preschool… Can’t believe she is already so grown up. Now we are starting over with baby number 2.
My toddler passed his hearing test this morning!!! Such a relief. He still needs speech therapy but, at least his ears are hearing me. (That’s not really a milestone but, it’s what I’m grateful and happy about today!)
