Evil-baby-glare-off

Here, at Mommy Shorts, we thought Evil Babies were SO LAST WEEK, but it appears the rest of the world didn't catch on until this past weekend.

The Evil Baby Glare-Off made the front page of the Huffington Post on Sunday, MSN put it as one of their top trending items on Monday and then on Tuesday, it made it's way onto The Today Show. Which was AWESOME, except for the small detail of Al Roker calling me Mommy Pants instead of Shorts.

Learn your hemlines, Al!

I thought it would be nice to provide a list of all the outlets where the Glare-Off appeared because 1) I like to feed my own ego and 2) so all the parents involved can see where their kids landed.

The sites that covered the Glare-Off (some with my permission and most without) used different photos (including some from my fanpage that didn't make the cut) so have yourself a look and see if your kid wound up on the news in Viet Nam.

I'm not kidding.

But before I use this post to revel in my international fame, I wanted to do one more thing for all the evil babies that made this contest such a success. Thanks to an idea from Neil's mother, I'm giving all the contestants the opportunity to convince us they are way less evil than they originally appeared.

It's amazing what a dimple and a toothless smile can do to hide the demon within…

I included Coralie's shirt above because on the Huffington Post (where everything must be turned into a political debate— read the comments), many people accused Coralie of being a mini-Romney. Clearly, that's not the case.

And now for the listing of sites that covered the Glare-Off. I hope you don't mind your child's picture on a site in South Korea, because I have no idea who and how to contact someone to take it down.

Crazy, right?

Next up, I'll be doing a Halloween costume contest. No prizes, just for fun. Except if you ring my doorbell on Wednesday, I might consider giving you a mini Kit Kat. If I haven't already eaten them all myself.

Submit pictures all next week by posting them to wall of the Mommy Shorts fanpage and awards will be given out on Friday.

Have a good weekend!
