This video reminds me of the time I saw Shawshank Repdemption and was overcome with happiness when Morgan Freeman finally tasted freedom on the beaches of Zihuatanejo at the end. It also reminds me of the happy tears I shed when Kevin Costner got to play catch with his dead dad in Field of Dreams.
Okay, okay. I also sobbed during the final scenes of City Slickers when Billy Crystal and his friends got the life-altering experience of "bringing in the herd". And I may have used a few tissues when Sloth was adopted by Chunk's family at the end of Goonies.
Point being— I don't know what glitch in the brain makes people cry when they are happy, but I've certainly been there.
Apparently, so has ten-month-old Mary Lynne, who was overcome with emotion while listening to her mother sing Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No".
If Mary Lynne is able to exhibit this much emotion when she's happy, I can't imagine the crocodile tears this kid is going to shed when she's sad. "My Heart Can't Tell You No" indeed. Good luck, Mary Lynne's Mom!
FYI- this video is the sappiest sweetest thing I have ever seen in my life and I have already watched it five times…
Heck, even my dog is crying now!
This video made me want another baby. Oh lord..!
What an adorable baby, I always has a soft spot when babies make what I call a BOO BOO LIP. I wanted to reach out and hug her.

I agree the baby is too adorable. But I can’t imagine what he/she’s going through in that 2min video. Poor kid.
Just shows how nutural reaction to music is.
