Laura Izumikawa (aka @lauraiz on Instagram) dresses up her baby girl Joey in different costumes all year long. She just waits for her little tike to fall asleep, and *poof*, she magically transforms her into rockstars, Disney princesses and fashion icons. (When Mazzy and Harlow were babies and they fell asleep, I’d hightail it out of the nursery to get something anything done that didn’t involve them, but that’s just me.)
If you are still trying to figure out your baby’s costume for Halloween, you might benefit from some inspiration from a professional. Of course, if you want your baby to wear their costume once they wake up and leave it on long enough to do some trick or treating, I can’t really help you with that. Sorry!
Regardless, here are a few of my favorites:
1) Sia
2) Scuba Diver
3) Jon Snow
4) Apple Employee

Aside from creativity-envy (because, so clever!) I have major baby-sleeping-envy going on here. My kids would wake if I breathed in the same room as them, so props to the baby who sleeps so deeply that her mom can be a true artist around her.
Popeye is the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.
The children look so lovely and so wonderful, so does my son. I really love it.
