Remember when summer meant two months off from school to play with your friends, vacation with your family and spend all day at camp, where nobody was asking you to do long division or give an oral report on the Industrial Revolution in front of your class?
The summer is still those things. Just not for parents. While our kids rejoice at the end of the school year, parents know that their world just got a little bit harder.

24 Summer Activities: Before and After Having Kids

Have any other ideas for summer activities that aren’t nearly as fun or relaxing once kids are in the picture? Leave them in the comments below! Or post pics on the Mommy Shorts Facebook page or on Instagram with the hashtag #averageparentproblems.
I will continue to post them on my @averageparentproblems Instagram account all summer long.

Day camp is only a week so then we’ll be picking strawberries and eating popsicles. The 4th of July will be fun for everybody but my 3yo. Changing her bedtime will cause her to be a cranky monster.
Well pictured!I enjoy having my kids off because I get to know them again in the summer! Then I am ready to ship them off to camp! I am surrounded by kids all day long- I work in education and then I work at home with my kids! http://www.amomandajob.com
Thank you so much for giving everyone an extraordinarily brilliant opportunity to read articles and blog posts from this blog. It’s always so brilliant and stuffed with amusement for me personally and my office co-workers to visit your site more than thrice in 7 days to study the latest things you have got. Of course, I’m so at all times contented with the dazzling techniques you serve. Some 4 areas in this article are surely the most effective I’ve had.
