Giveaway: Lily Jade Diaper Bag
When I had my first baby, I thought I would have a baby forever. I decorated a nursery, got all the requisite baby gear, bought a plethora of chewable toys, all with only a newborn in mind. In the beginning stages of motherhood, time passes slowly. Clothes for a nine month old seem like a lifetime away. We actually put them in storage; nine months with our brand new baby being more time than we could possibly comprehend.
With my second kid, I felt differently. I understood the passage of time. I knew how quickly it all went and debated even pulling out the playtime activity mat when I knew Harlow would be mobile before I could blink.
It’s with your second kid that a lot of the toys and gear start to seem a bit silly. We spent so much money on Mazzy’s bassinet (used for exactly three months) and then we didn’t even use it for Harlow. We took it apart, put it in storage and then couldn’t find a leg when we took it back out.
Money down the drain.
Over the years, we have gone through countless diaper bags, mainly because people keep sending them to me, and I have a pretty good handle on what will go used and unused.
The bags with the most longevity?
They aren’t the ones with the most pockets or the cleverest bottle holder— they are the ones that double as a bag I can use for work.
You know, incognito diaper bags.
Lily Jade makes diaper bags that don’t look like diaper bags. They don’t come in crazy quilted patterns that no person outside of a mom with a tiny human pooping machine would ever deem acceptable to carry. They come in solid colors and high quality leathers and fabrics. All of the pockets and elastic compartments are on the inside instead of the outside, so it never looks like you are carrying around a portable changing table when you are child-free on your way to work. It also doesn’t look like you are carrying around a diaper bag when your kids are clearly way beyond diapers.
(Not that Harlow is beyond diapers. Yet.)
In fact, in all of the Lily Jade bags, the diaper bag pockets exist in a separate washable canvas insert that you can easily remove. They call it the “Baby Bag Organizer“.
This is handy for three reasons:
1) You can put everything you need to service your babies in the organizer insert (bottles, snack trappers, crayons, diapers, pacifiers, etc.) and then remove it, put it in your coat closet fully stocked, use the outer bag for work like a normal human being and then stick the insert back in the next time you are on-the-go with your kids.
2) How many times have you transferred everything to a different bag only to leave the house and realize, “Oh crap! I left the pacifier in the outside side pocket!” With the Lily Jade Baby Bag, you can put the insert inside any tote, gym bag, travel bag you please without worrying you left something behind. This is especially useful when Grandma is watching your kiddos for the day.
3) Once your kids have grown and you no longer need all the crazy compartments that are necessary for baby stuff, you can remove the Baby Bag and never put it back. Then you have a regular bag that you can use until you are old and gray.
My favorite Lily Jade bag is the Caroline. It’s large enough to fit my laptop when the “Baby Bag” isn’t inside. It’s a great quality leather, has a few zippered pockets built right into the bag for easy access and it comes in a striking red that looks great with my mostly all-black attire.
Now that my kids are both out of their spit-up phase, I no longer worry about wearing black.
I’ve had the Lily Jade Caroline for over a year now and I’ve seen how my use of it has changed. In the beginning, I used the “Baby Bag” daily and now I find that even when I travel with Harlow, I just use the regular bag. I don’t need to take as much stuff around with me as I did when she was little.
Oh my god, did I just say Harlow isn’t little???
She’s still little. She just doesn’t need the paci compartment anymore.
Sniff.
Today I’m giving away one Lily Jade bag of your choice. Just visit the Lily Jade site, tell me which bag is your favorite and what’s the funniest kid-related item you have ever found in your bag when you weren’t with your kids.
For instance, Harlow once stole a friend’s TV remote by slipping it in my bag when I wasn’t looking. She also stole a plastic hot dog but that’s a whole other story.
As a special promotion for Mommy Shorts readers, when you buy one diaper bag on sale, you can purchase an EXTRA Baby Bag (every diaper bag already comes with a Baby Bag included) for just $20 (it’s a great gift for a friend or as an extra organizer for your car) using code MOMSHORTS20. I like the Caroline in Black….The most random thing I have found left in my purse at the store without my son was, his favorite plush lion taggies hand blanket. I was looking for my wallet and pulled that out and was like sorry I swear it’s my son’s and not the stores. LOL. Luckily they believed me.
I once took the tv part of my baby’s monitor to work with me in my bag. My nanny was going crazy looking for it and I was texting with her blaming my husband and then I found it when I was out for lunch. Oops.
i love the sarah grace in silver! My little guy is only three months, so the strangest thing I’ve found was just a paci
I really like the Caroline in Brandy! The strangest baby-related items I’ve found in my bag when my baby was not around was one breast pad and one tiny sock. Pairs of things never to be paired again!
*caroline in brandy*
my son has to have his snack cup and his water cup whenever we leave the house. Usually, I have a container with additional dry snacks to refill the cup, just in case we’re out for an extended time. My hubby forgot to grab the refill-cup and went scrounging around in the bottom of the diaper bag for spilled cereal that lay at the bottom of the bag. He was really disappointed that there were also dog treats mixed in, compliments of my bug-bug who packed “snacks” for the dog in his bag too 🙂
i love the Caroline in red and I once found a half eaten string cheese. I think someone thought they would save it for later.
I love the Caroline in black! So cute!!! So I have found all kinds of kid stuff in my bag including pacifiers, cereal, and once in a job interview Princess Jasmine flew out of my bag as I reached for my resume. However the most disgusting thing I ever found was a dirty diaper at least 24 hours to old. It was poop filled! So it was in one of those geen bags that are supposed to block the smell. I had changed the baby covertly in my in laws living room (they are super Squamish about that kinda thing. They really think you can’t change a baby without a changing table) and so as not to alarm them I just stuck the baggy with the diaper in my bag. Thinking I would toss it when we left. Lol
I absolutely LOVE the Caroline in black. The classy red inside is super cute.
And as for a funny thing in my purse? I let my daughter hold a McDonalds katsup packet while I ate, and the next day I found it exploaded all over my umbrella and chapstick in my purse. -__-
I like the Anna in Black. I once accidentally pulled out Desitin thinking it was moisturizer, and put it all over my son’s face. OOPS.
I love the Elizabeth in Camel and the Caroline in Red. I’ve found a dirty diaper (thanks to my husband), but the nose bulb and Melissa & Doug ice cream treat toy were my daughter’s doing. She’s also been known to throw in packages of sewing notions or candles. 🙂
Elizabeth in Camel!
I’ve found random puffs scattered on the bottom of my purse. And yes I ate them. #noshame
I loooove the Caroline in black. I’ve been lusting after this bag for a long time!
I don’t have anything exciting to share…I think the funniest/grossest thing I’ve found in my diaper bag is a half eaten lollipop. But I feel like that happens to every mom…at least 10 times.
I love the Elizabeth in camel!!!
I love the Caroline in black. I’ve found rocks, acorns, mulch…. you name it, in my purse.
Obsessed with the Caroline in red! I just found and elf on the shelf in my diaper bag after returning from a friends house after a play date….oops!
I love the Madeline in Brandy. I always find it funny when I find half eaten food in my bag and can’t remember how long it’s been there. I was at the reception desk of my doctors and looked down and say something like looked like a dried up rabbit poop. Everyone was disgusted and then I realized it was a dried up raisin and it came from my bag.
Love the Madeline in Black or Caroline in Red.
My daughter decided to put her crusty yogurt bib in my bad just for me to pull out at work. Mind you it is an open space and all my coworkers got to witness the yogurt pieces chipping off when I pulled it out.
I love the Sarah grace gold bag! And since my toddler gets hangry at the drop of a hat I never leave the house without a plethora of food. I regularly find half eaten snacks at the bottom of my bag. Nothing like finding week old apple, so gross!
My favorite is DEFINITELY the Caroline in red! You have good taste!
The funniest would have to be from the day that my twin toddlers upended a baggie of life cereal and raisins that I had put together to bribe them for their first haircut, into my purse, and then also upended my straw tumbler of water into my purse a while later – only a few drips, right!? Naturally, I got distracted and moved on and the next day I found the bottom of my purse to be a sea of nasty stinky sludgy goop which had even nudged its way into my pens and EOS. Nasty. Mom life. Sorry, Coach.
Love the Caroline bag in burgundy. Strangest thing I ever found was my daughters lunch instead of mine.
Anna in gunmetal! I recently cleaned out my bag and found 3 different kinds of paci’s…my daughter has never taken a paci and I rarely ever have that bag when taking my daughter places.
The Anna in Black is beautiful as are all the bags. When I had my kids the funniest thing I found in our bag was a dozen or so of chewed pieces of gum. My daughter wanted to try him when she was with her dad. He never looked in the bag the week she was with him. It did make for nice water proof deal once it hardened all the way. My granddaughter recently left a deadizarz in my purse. Can’t wait to see what the new one brings to the bag next June
I love the Elizabeth in Camel
I find everything in my purse! A half eaten Apple, a single dirty sock, oh, even found a dirty diaper in there once!
Love the Caroline in Red! I’m typically always carrying a dinosaur, army man, superhero or random animal in my bag. It’s simply a normal part of my life.
caroline in brandy – LOVE
was searching for a diaper for my then 2 year old, whose diapers had mysteriously been replaced with baby alives :0 That was an interesting lunch date with friends haha
Also hidden was a well loved drumstick that had been missing for a few months & a plastic watermelon slice 🙂
I love the Anna in black! My son likes to hide paper towels, single pieces of food, and his pacifiers in my purse. However, most of the time he’s just trying to dump everything out of it.
I once cleared out my *gasp* quilted diaper bag and found an extra pair of batman undies in a ziploc that belonged to one of my boys. When I opened the ziploc to toss the undies in the wash, a nugget of poop rolled out! How did I not know about these amazing bags for my last 7 years of motherhood with my 3 littles? I LOVE the Caroline in Brandy. Hoping to swap my quilted granny bag for this one!
Caroline in Brandy! I once found an extra pair of batman undies that I had tucked away for an emergency when my son was potty training. When I picked them up to toss them in the wash a nugget of poop rolled out!
I need one of these bags! My diaper bag evolution has reached a new level, now that my gal is potty training. No longer do I need a bag to hold our big cloth diapers, but I need a bag bigger than a purse for all of the extra clothes!
I’d love the Caroline in Brandy.
Oh! And I definitely took a pair of Disney princess panties to the ballet last night. Oops.
Madeline! I love finding random crackers and raisins in the bottom of my purse. Woo!
Caroline in Red
Toy trucks in my gym bag.
Elizabeth in camel is so beautiful. That one is def my favorite. I’m constantly finding little socks in every bag, purse, and coat pocket. My little guy likes to remove his footwear every chance he gets. Which means I have a whole basket full of unmatched socks in the laundry room. I swear a matches pair of baby socks never gets washed together! But the worst thing to find was a used diaper (in a bag, luckily) in my purse. A day old and quite stinky.
I DON’T HAVE CHILDREN YET, BUT I’M HOPING FOR SOME POSITIVE NEWS IN THE NEW YEAR 🙂 I LOVE THE ELIZABETH IN CARMEL. SUCH AN AMAZING LOOKING BAG.
BUT THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER FOUND, WAS SLIPPED INTO MY WEDDING CLUTCH BY MY COUSINS 5 YEAR OLD SON WHO DIDN’T APPROVE OF MY WEDDING. HE LEFT A LITTLE NOTE IN HIS ADORABLE HANDWRITING TELLING ME THAT IF ‘THE TALL MAN’ (MY HUSBAND) DOESN’T LET ME EAT CANDY BEFORE BED THEN I SHOULD MARRY HIMSELF INSTEAD. IT WAS THE CUTTEST THING EVER. HE SIGNED IT WITH ‘I LOVE YOU EVEN IF YOU ARE BEING SILLY’. SUCH A SWEETHEART.
I love the Madeline in black! Let’s see..things I find in my bag, smushed granola bar, melted chocolates and tiny plastic animals!
Love the Madeline in Black because it converts to a backpack!
My embarrassing moment was taking my diaper bag to work one day because of a pediatrician’s appt later that day and having one of the musical Elmo toys go off in the background in the middle of a meeting.
My favorite bag is Caroline in black. Very cute.
In terms of the funniest thing I ever found in my bag, it’s hard to pick just one. I’d have to say it happened when I was waiting for a job interview. I reached into my bag to find some Chapstick, only to find a naked baby doll with crapstick smeared all over it. I can only guess one of three things: my daughter thinks it’s time for a new Chapstick, this doll could loosen me up with laughter, or be the good luck charm I needed for this interview. No matter what the case, at least she’s being “creative”. 🙂
Caroline in black…. I adore that bag. Funniest thing I ever found in my diaper bag? An ice cream sandwich, 4 hours after we left the house. My son was packing it for later.
Caroline in black! Love it! When my first was younger I was taking college classes. One day while in class, taking a test ofcouse, I accidentally kicked my bag and out blurts Thomas, “I’m the number one engine!” Apparently he hitched a ride with me that day.
I love the Caroline in red. Not really funny, but I always have wet wipes, bandaids and pacifiers on me — in my regular purse!
Anna in gunmetal is my favorite bag. I was out with my girlfriends for a long over due girls night when I found a “play” credit card in my wallet!! We could not stop laughing- the waitress was hesitant to serve us another round!
I’m in love with the Caroline in red!!! It’s so beautiful and looks amazing on you! The other day I had my 6 week pp check up. It was the first time away from my son. I found his purp cloth in my bag. I missed my son so much I just kept sniffing it because it smelled like him!
I love the Caroline in red!
I have found lots of kid things in my purse when out without my kids including, but not limited to, hot wheels, Lego men, chewed gum (gross), diaper (clean), soothers, Cheerios, fishy crackers.
Caroline. Love finding me some old sippy cups of Breast milk. Yum!
I love the Madeline in brandy. I found an old container of milk from a restaurant that was apparently being saved for later. Luckily it was still closed and sealed.
Caroline in brandy is awesome it looks like a regular bag and doesn’t scream- I have kids, l get no sleep and occasionally shower!
When we lived in NYC I used my diaper bag and just attached it to my stroller, but since we’ve moved to the suburbs I’ve found myself just using my car. We’re always driving around. Not the most organized!
The funniest thing I’ve found is dental floss. Not funny on it’s own but the baby put it there. He’s 17 months. He watches us brush our teeth- I guess he’s trying to tell his mommy something!
Hi Mommyshorts!
I absolutely love the Caroline in Brandy bag! What a delicious color that Brandy is!!!!
The funniest kid related item I have found in my bag is little bags of teddy grahams and gold fish while I am at work!
I love the caroline and madeline both in brandy! The weirdest thing I’ve found in my bag was toy keys in place of real keys haha
Caroline in Brandy! Or Cailin Royal Purple. And of course I just picked out a new bag for my husband to get me for Christmas and of course I like these better…..
Hey there, I’m a mom of a 15 month old girlie named Reagan who is going to become a big sister in June 2015. I could definitely use an incredible and durable diaper bag. I really like the Madeline in red. This is totally me! I wish I could afford a $300 + diaper bag, but my money has to go elsewhere. So here I am, trying to win one.
The funniest object I found in my bag while I was at work, and I know Reagan put it there was Reagan’s little Ty dog and a half-eaten bag animal crackers along with crumbs. It looked like she had eaten on more than one and returned it to the bag. Reagan must have done this while I slept during the day. I’m a night shift RN and I left my bag in the floor and daddy must have let her play near it. Oh well, I got a laugh!
I love Caroline in Brandy. My baby is only 18 months and I tend to keep the diaper bag out of his reach, so I haven’t found anything super weird yet. He has a tendency to take every single item out of the bag and lay them all over the florid he gets close enough to the bag! I did find a padlock once, but I don’t know if that was his doing or mine…
I’ve been eyeing LilyJade bags for a while, wishing for one! I’m always torn between the Caroline and the Elizabeth. As for the kid related item in my bag… There have been so many! Toy animals, baby tooth brush, a lone sock, dirty dishes, bibs… Eventually you stop being surprised or wondering what that is doing here. 😀
My favorite Lilly Jade bag is the Elizabeth in Camel. IM OBSSESSED with that bag! I love that you can also carry it as a backpack, super cute and practical for a mom of four like myself.
The funniest thing (and by funniest, i mean gross) i’ve found in my diaper bag was a used (pee only thank god) diaper. when Im on the run or in a place that i can’t find a trash, I put it back in my bag. I guess i forgot to take it out, but WOW did that stink!
I love the Anna in Gunmetal!! The strangest thing I found in my bag was a crusty spit up rag.. What was more unusual was that it was the same one I found a week earlier, right after I finished the laundry! At that time I could’ve sworn I told myself to make sure once I got home to put the crusty rag in the hamper so it would be cleaned with the next batch of laundry, and yet there it was still in the bag!
I love the Caroline in brandy. Beautiful bags! I once found a half eaten (and very very ripe!) banana at the bottom of my son’s diaper bag.. Yuck!
All the time I’m finding baggies of smashed goldfish or graham crackers in the bottom of my purse. I grab them for something to appease my little one while running errands and always forget to take them back out of my bag.
My fave Lily Jane bag is Caroline Red!
I have also found dog treats in my bag and also loose bits of cat food because my daughter wants to feed all the animals she comes across. Every unattended animal looks like a stray to her and must be fed.
I love the Caroline in Black. That red lining is to die for.
My favorite also is the Caroline in red! I love how bright and sophisticated it is.
The oddest thing I ever found actually happened today. My 17 month old is a pro at getting whatever she wants, including free munchkins from our regular coffee guy at Dunkin Donuts. Today I found two in the diaper bag. I’m sure she’s saving them for later!
Caroline in red.
I found a toothbrush…and it didn’t belong to my child. I have no idea!
Caroline in red. I once pulled out a plastic octopus toy when looking for my wallet at a work event. Good times.
I love the Red or Brandy Caroline! Just this week I found a little doll house doll in my diaper bag…we don’t even own a doll house or any dollhouse dolls!
Caroline in black is gorg & my fav!
The strangest I’ve found in my bag is toys from friends at play dates. Not all that impressive. Ask me the strangest thing she’s ever put in her mouth & I’d have a great story. ☺
The Caroline in black is my dream diaper bag. The strangest thing I’ve found in my bag is a toy that My daughter hadn’t played with in months. It made noise and everything, but somehow managed to hang out in there unnoticed for quite a while.
My fave bag is the Elizabeth in red canvas. Loooove it!! The weirdest thing I’ve ever found in my current bag? Paper fruit that my daughter “borrowed” from the kid’s play area at IKEA. After much begging, we let her play for a half hour while we shopped – and I had to go return the contraband after I found them while digging for lip gloss when we got in the car. :/
Love the Caroline in red!
Only odd things I would find in my bag was lots of snack foods…raisins, gummies, gold fish, Cheerios, crackers.
My favorite bag would have to be the Madeline in brandy. I definitely need a zipper across the top to keep little hands out! Funniest thing would be measuring spoons, a strawberry sticker, and Ariel in my clutch before a wedding once. I felt the bag and figured I had already put my lip gloss and powder in it, but no, had quite the surprise when I finally opened it at the wedding!
I have to pick the Madeline (because it’s my daughter’s name) in Brandy (because alcohol, duh).
When we’re shopping, I always lie and tell my girl we can’t get things because I forgot my money. She took things into her own hands. She put TWO POUNDS of change into the bottom of my bag because “Now you’ll always have money to buy me things, Mommy.” Can’t fault her logic.
I love the Elizabeth in Camel. I think the weirdest thing I’ve found in the diaper bag was two days ago… found my older son’s LOTR replica ring. He said he was hiding it from the “filthy hobbitses.” I couldn’t even argue, I just nodded and put it back.
Caroline in red! A few pairs of my underwear that was thankfully clean! My son “helped” fold laundry and stuffed a few pairs in the diaper bag which I discovered at the park!
I love the Caroline in black – I am having my second little girl in 31 days (yes I’m counting) and I need a non flowery diaper bag!
The funniest thing I found in my purse was a week old half-chewed bagel (blueberry) at the bottom of my diaper bag, when I asked my then 2yr old she said ‘it’s just in case you get hungry when you at work mommy’.
I love the Sarah Grace Gold bag! Stunning. I found a mini my little pony in my bag & my hubby found princess stickers on his socks & a pretend cookie in his lunch box. 🙂
I love the Madeline in red. The funniest thing I have found in my bag, a fly swatter. My Dad bought a set of plastic fly shatters to use on our porch. My 2 year old apparently wanted to keep the pink one fly free and hid it in my purse. I found it in an inner pocket when I was digging for Chapstick.
I love the Caroline in black! <3. Weirdest thing I've found in my bag was a transformer toy along with a book sticky with some form of food. Aren't toddlers grand? 😀
the Anna in black.
I think the funniest thing I found was the extra paci clipped to my debit card. I want the debit card to be easy to find so i figured if i attached the paci to it i could pullout the paci and the card would came with it. well a few days later when i needed my debit card i reached in and somehow the debit card was on top of the paci so grabbed the debit card to pull it out and managed to chuck the paci at the clerk , luckily said clerk was a friend of mine, who happened to be pregnant, so she just threw it back and said i dont think i need one of those yet.
Sarah Grace Gold is stunning. My son is only 5 months so I have yet to have any funny stories. The grossest thing was definitely a diaper. My husband changed my son and never told me that he put the diaper in my purse. That was a fun discovery!
Caroline bag in red! I found an opened BBQ sauce in my bag. My daughter must have slipped it in there. LOL
Caroline in red. My daughter has this small toy pig that squeaks, that is probably the funniest. But I’d say the most memorable would be some moldy snacks I forgot was in my bag.
I love the Caroline in black! An open box of fruit loops.. Crumbs everywhere!
I love the Caroline – black or red. Red is fun black is practical. I found a dirty diaper. I hadn’t used the bag in at least a week.
I found my daughter’s pair of underwear inside my bag (and I may have also seen one of her formula dispensers as well) when I was already at the office. It felt like I was having an illicit affair, trying to hide the item away from people’s eyes. Haha!
And I would love that Caroline in red, too!
The Caroline in black. I like the way the red one looks but I don’t think I could pull it off. Kind of how I feel about pointy shoes. Or red lipstick.
Recently, I’m often finding Christmas ornaments courtesy of my almost 2 year old. Most of the time I find sippy cup parts and half eaten food.
I love the Anna in black. And my little one is still on 3 months old so she hasn’t snuck anything in the diaper bag… Yet. I can only imagine what things she will get her hands on though 😉
My favorites are the Caroline in brown or black. So classy!
My toddlers love thier plastic math bears (colorful bears of a ynifoem size used to illustrate math problems. They have put the bears in my purse, my pockets and my shoes. I always get dunny looks when I am fishing for change and pull out a purple bear instead.
I love the Caroline but can’t decide if I like it better in black or red. And the funniest thing I found in my bag without children would be an opened half eaten lollipop that was stuck to everything at the bottom of my bag.
I love the Caroline in Brandy. My husband is a teacher and once took out some books in front of a class and a baby sock came flying out. The students really liked that.
I’m intrigued by the backpack feature, so I’m loving the Elizabeth in Camel! So hard to decide, though! My daughter is only 6 weeks old so I don’t have any amazing “surprise findings” stories yet… Unless spit up in my nursing bra counts? 😉 I love reading all these hilarious comments, haha
I LOVE the ANNA in gunmetal. Totally gorgeous bags! Funniest thing in my diaper bag so far: I found a doggie chew toy instead of the baby teething ring. We have lots of dogs and only 1 baby. Not sure who got confused in this situation 🙂
The Madeline in red is amazing! And once I found dry cat food in my diaper bag…we don’t have a cat.
Caroline in black. My girls favorite sippy (princess) with milk in it 2 days later….knowing full well that this sippy had been rogue (especially because it leaks) and did so on my paycheck at the bottom of my diaper purse! Not so funny at the time, more whomp whomp wa
Love ALL the bags, but Caroline in Brandy is my top choice. And although I do not currently have children, I hope to in the upcoming months. So…to dance around the question, my cat has left little toy mice in my purses, “teacher bags”, and in my husband’s shoes. Hoping soon my bags will be filled with all things-baby!
Hard to choose but I love the Sarah Grace in gold. I have two girls and find hair bows everywhere. My bags, coat pocket, car…you name it. Also find a lot of socks and little people princesses. Wish I would have known about these bags sooner! They are great!!
I love the Madeline in black, which would be great for our baby expected in June. I usually find interesting things in my bag when I travel for work. Most recently it was her loud car keys toy! Not what I need when trying to get through airport security…
I love the Caroline in brandy! I’m usually with my kids unless I’m working so my pump bag has stayed pretty separate from my diaper bag. But the instance when I have an embarrassing mommy moment while at work would have to be when I’m pumping and hear one of the doctors next store saying “what’s that noise?” we definitely need a designated pumping room!
I love the Sarah Grace in Gold!! Craziest kid item I found was Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates with his brother’s paci in his mouth. Guess the 2.5 year thought Jake needed it more than his brother.
I love the Elizabeth bag in Camel. My favorite is when I reach in a pocket of my bag and come up with handfuls of cereal crumbs or a half eaten granola bar. Awesome.
I love Madeline in black!
One time I managed to find a full size Buzz Lightyear in my work bag!
I love the Caroline in Brandy, it’s gorgeous. The funniest thing I’ve found in my bag is a half eaten lollipop.
Definitely the Elizabeth in Camel – I love the old-school look. Perfect for sticking in my bike basket.
This morning, I found my name tag from a conference I went to kid-free last week in the diaper bag. I think he stole it from my purse and stuck it in the back of the diaper bag. My son is already wanting to network!
Love the Caroline in red. Funniest/most embarrassing thing was pulling out a nipple shield in lieu of (discreet looking) Invisalign storage box when out to eat at a fancy restaurant, and having it on table when waiter came to take our order.
I love the Madeline. One time I was in a quiet store full of the types of things most of us can’t afford and I started hearing random beeps and chimes. After looking around at everybody I realized the noises were coming from my purse! I didn’t even know my daughter had stuck her play keys in there!
I like the Madeleine in brandy. The funniest thing I’ve found was a bulb of garlic in my farmers market tote that I didn’t purchase. My theory is that he remembered me saying how much I like garlic and he thought I would like one.
I also like the Madeleine in red now that I’ve looked at their website again!!
