Today is "Take Your Kids To Work Day", which I would love to do except it means taking Mazzy to my office where she would watch me stare at my computer just like she does every day at home.
I suppose if you are a stay-at-home parent, then sending your kids off to work with your spouse feels like an actual holiday. Lucky you! Take in a movie, read a book, lunch like it's a verb, etc.
But how can the rest of us celebrate? Send a totally inappropriate someecard, that's how!
Below are my 12 favorite "Take Your Kids To Work Day" cards.
Ya, every day is ‘take your kid to work day for me’ since I work from home. I would welcome sending her (the one not in school) with her dad to work. I’m looking forward to Kindergarten, fall 2013, and to working ALONE. woo.
I love these and want to make them into Christmas tree ornaments. : )
As a SAHM, I feel so ripped off now. I think that maybe tomorrow will be Take Your Kids To Work Day for my husband. I need a spa day.= for my poor, swollen, 34 week pregnant feet.
This is the first thing I read this morning, which pretty much means I woke up laughing today so thank you for that! Those cards are hilarious.
Act like I still work here steals the show.
My kids are my briefcase and I never get to forget it at home, since I work at home.
I wish it was Leave Your Kids At School for 12 Hours Day.
These cards make me laugh. Hard.
Oh boy are these funny. Thanks for collecting them for me! Just for me! I like the “please pretend I still work here” and “prostitute” ones best. I’m sure some therapist could have a field day with that.
bahaha! I particulary like the “I realize how little you actually do.” I can think of SO many ppl that could apply to…(though not me, of course. never me.)
I did take my cats to work day, because I misread it. Also, because why not? I was working at home and they follow me around all the time anyway.
I love those cards.
