There are also a few sponsored items which each have Mommy Shorts holiday discount codes and will be part of the Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway at the bottom of this post.

Happy holidays!
The gift I am most excited to give my son this Christmas is this rocking horse that is really soft and if you press one ear it talks to you and moves its mouth and if you press the other ear it songs to you. He loves to climb onto things and ride them. If I had to make a second choice it would be the little ballpit. 😉

I’m most excited about giving my 3 daughters the gift of their baby sister! Is that too cheesy? Seriously, I’m so over being pregnant and just want to have this baby.

I love your lists. Sophie asked Santa for a disco ball- so she is getting a disco ball! She has also been begging for a pet so I plan to surprise her with a goldfish 😉
The Story Box Circus looks awesome!

Omg… I totally was able to score my daughter the Lego Elsa Sparkling Ice Castle from Frozen. Lego says they’re not released until January but the East Coast and midwest already have them! I live on the West Coast… last for stuff like this. But my mom lives in Nashville and totally scored one for us and sent it right over 🙂 My girl is gonna lose her mind!!!!
Just pinned this. Thanks for all the ideas!
Totally pinned the “bored kid” graphic cause I love the stuff in that pic 🙂
Pinned the 80s pic

Our girls are getting scooters this year, I can’t wait!
this year we’re giving our 3yo hot wheels tracks to go with the tons of cars we started buying as inexpensive rewards/treats for the past 1.5 years – he’s finally big enough to race them 🙂 and our 4mo will probably get some socks – but she won’t mind because she’s so perfectly small still!
I am most excited to give my 2 year old some play felt food that I made him. He is obsessed with hash browns and asks me to make them at least 10 times a day, so I’m sure he’ll love having some of his own to cook up!
This is my son’s first christmas and we are super excited!!! I can’t wait to give him the set of classic Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals we got him…we have been reading him a lot of pooh stories so can’t wait to see if he makes the connection!
I have 5 kids but I think I am most excited for my 3 year old this year! She is obsessed with Frozen and will be waking to a Frozen wonderland on Christmas morning 🙂 she is so funny and expressive that I cannot wait to see her reaction. I did order a tinker crate from kiwi crate for my 10 year old, she was hard and I think she will love that!
I got my 3yo the Little People Disney Princess singing Castle, so excited to See her face! Well, until she sees the iPad mini my parents got her. Lol!!

I’m excited to give my daughter the pair of lavender owl slippers we got her. And we got my 1 month old a super soft green blanket.
I am feeling totally uninspired by my boys gifts this year. They just want Legos, super heroes and dinosaurs. The only thing I am excited to give them is the book with no pictures.
“The cold never bothered me anyway” shirt is my favorite. So awesome.

I can’t wait to give my two year old son the doll house he has been telling me for months that Santa is going to bring him. Love that Melissa and Doug had a gender neutral doll house that I could buy!
I’m most excited to be giving my Mini-girl her Bert & Ernie Maracas. She adores Sesame Street; Bert & Ernie specifically. I can’t wait to see the joy in her eyes and that smile that makes the (guaranteed) increase in Toddler-chaos completely outweigh the (potential) for increase in Mama-headaches!
I am most excited about surprising my 6 year old with the Frozen hairstyle book. She’s gonna LOVE it.
A swing set!
I am overly excited about giving my 3 kids (14, 6 & 4) their trampoline they have been begging for for the last 2 years. They are going to lose their minds Christmas morning!!!!

I’m most excited to be giving my 5.5yr old son his very first NEW and “big boy” bike! He’s only ever had worn out and old hand-me-downs from his cousins , and he outgrew them a while ago, yet still rides one. He is going to LOVE this on Xmas morning! (Bonus, this bike will then go on to his 2 yr old brother someday, so I didn’t mind making the investment.)

I’m most excited to give my 21 month old his first baby doll. He loves babies!

These gift ideas are so fun! I’m so excited this year to give my 4 yo a huge wooden train set and new art supplies, and my 2 yo a new baby doll and doll bed. They’re going to be thrilled!
And I just pinned the picture of gifts for kids who say they’re bored all the time – because my 4 yo totally does this!!
I can’t wait for my son to open his first HO train set! He actually knows he’s getting it because he found it before we could hide it, so it’s a bjt of a joke. Daddy had to hide it so mommy wouldn’t just let him have it. Daddy is patient. Mommy and Aidan are not :).
I’m most excited to give my daughter the play vet kit she asked for and the english bulldog that I bought for it.
She loves to take care of others, and that comes through on every thing she asks for.

Our family is on a tight budget this year, so having the Grandparents come as well as a few things under the tree for the little ones will be fine with us. Our three year old asked for a doc mcstuffins backpack and a trumpet for her brother. Sounds good to me!
This gift guide is awesome! ‘Gifts for parents you hate’ really tickled me haha! My daughter is 2.5 and has been asking for a pink scooter for months! I can’t wait to see her little face on Christmas morning ❤️ Xxx

Omg I love that nice underwear welcome mat but I know my d&h will never go for it, I actually painted a warm or cool face mug for him (double score, fun night out with my friends painting). Those color your own leggings, They need to make color on shirts and pants for my son who graffiti’s all his clothing. I most excited to give my son his own iPod and earphone (actually a pass along) that we filled with all his favorite music so the whole family doesn’t have to suffer through another kiddie song again and again…
President Block set. Got them for my 3 kids ages 10,8 and 5. It wasn’t on their list, but I love them, and My 8 year old is very patriotic.
My husband MADE a balance beam for our budding 4-year-old gymnast… .I’m just hoping her and her little brother don’t kill themselves on it. lol.

Thank you so much! yay!
My son wanted an xbox360. And he is finally getting one.
I am most excited to give my kid a fish. His first pet since our dog passed away.
Yeah, I am not so sure about it either but those damn “My Fun Fish Tank” commercials on Nick Jr convinced me. Will it work to “easily clean it”? Most certainly not. 🙂
