Giveaway: $200 Gift Card to Babies"R"Us & Pampers Baby Fresh wipes
This month, numerous milestones have been reached and checked off by both of my daughters. Here are two equally big pieces of news…
1) Harlow started walking.
I don't have a good video yet but she's taken at least ten steps on three different occasions. Unfortunately, every time I take out my camera to film her, she lunges for it and messes up her stride entirely.
In case anyone is keeping score at home, Harlow started just shy of 11 months. Yes, I know this will make life more difficult. But I'm still gonna brag about it.
2) Mazzy started pooping on the potty.
Let's be clear. She still fights the urge and holds it in way longer than I think is healthy. But she has now pooped on the potty four times. The first time it happened, Mazzy got up in the morning, walked into the bathroom on her own and two minutes later, yelled, "Mom!!!! I pooped in the potty!!!!"
I walked in and without missing a beat, my daughter deadpanned, "WHERE'S MY PRIZE?"
I told Mazzy we could go to Babies"R"Us that afternoon and she could pick something out herself.
Then I patted myself on the back because, no joke, Pampers had just given me a $200 Babies"R"Us gift card as part of a Swaddlers promotion. The timing could not have worked out better.
That day, I left work early to pick Mazzy up from school. Then we walked over to Babies"R"Us to buy Swaddlers for Harlow and a potty training prize for Mazzy.
I'm pretty sure "The Circle of Life" was playing faintly in the background.
The top floor of Babies"R"Us has tons of toys and Mazzy walked slowly down each aisle to make sure she had selected the best prize possible. This was serious business.
I had to steer Mazzy away from an enormous Cars-themed couch and a dollhouse the size of our apartment, but eventually it came down to a Team Umizoomi set and a Cars-themed LEGO racetrack. Finally, in a surprise twist, Mazzy spotted a talking Daniel Tiger and was instantly smitten.
Even better, Daniel Tiger has an on/off switch.
You'll notice that her hand briefly grazed a shirtless Ken doll. I breathed a sigh of relief when she passed it over. Thank god, we are not at THAT milestone.
With our gift card, we also bought Harlow a walker, her first sippy cup, new pacifiers, Puffs, Gerber GoodStart (I'm down to one pumped bottle of breastmilk a day) and her first pair of shoes with a soleβ she wore them to my cousin's wedding that I talked about yesterday.
Mazzy made out with a new bath toy and a puzzle of the world from Crocodile Creek.

My 9 mo is cruise walking along the furniture and sometimes keeping balanced on her own without holding on.
Milo will be 5 in February. His latest milestone reached is wiping his own butt! Something for you to look forward to… : )Hahaha
My son is 22 months old and is finally starting to say words that I can kinda of understand. YAY!
My daughter is almost 5 and is doing awesome in her daycare “kinder class” learning to read and write better. Whoo! Prep for school next year.

My two year old is finally mastering the art of eating with utensils versus hands.
Great giveaway! My 6 month old just cut his first 2 teeth and started scooting around on both knees. My 2 year old is busting out tons of new words everyday!
My son who is just about 22 months, gave up a binky! No more binkies at night or during naps! We are all grown up now! Yay π
My 10-month-old took his first steps last night! So proud!
My 4 year old said her first swear word! As in “it’s just a damn owl tattoo.” So proud that she used it correctly π
My 8 month old is finally not terrified of grass – here is to hoping we won’t regress over the winter!
Believe it or not, same as you! My 3yo is now pooping on the potty, earning him a garbage truck with a mechanical dumpster flipper, and my 15month old is now walking. A great feat, as he is 32 lbs and lacks visible ankles. Oh yeah, and lest I forget, the 3yo just conquered separation anxiety, as seen when I dropped him at preschool and he said goodbye, then emphasized it by giving my bum a gentle two handed shove to hasten me out the door.
My son, Sam, is in the midst of the potty training milestone experience. He loves to go potty while at home. I haven’t changed a poopy diaper in about 2 months! But he HATES to go potty at daycare where he’s too busy playing with his friends to think about it. This is why I say “in the midst”. PS. Pull ups are expensive!
I am following you! (On Pinterest, only, I SWEAR) π
My 24 month old has progressed from “toddler talk” to full blown adult conversations. There is almost no “baby” left about her!
My almost 3-month-old daughter and I have started sleeping through the night!
I was honestly so disappointed when I had to take my first son out of swaddlers when I he moved up to size 4 in pampers – so excited they have now have size 4 & 5 and will definitely be using them for baby #2 when he arrvies in Feb!
My 20 month old has started the terrible twos just in time for his baby brother’s birth! Not really a celebratory milestone but a milestone nonetheless!!
My two year old began giving “real” kisses on the cheek, rather than just giving his cheek. Seriously, my heart melts at just the thought of his sweet little kiss!
My daughter (33 months) is now telling us she has to potty instead of starting in her pants! AND my 6 month old son is just starting to what finger foods!
My 4 month old son sleep in his bed all night long. I spent most of the night glued to the baby monitor every time he made a peep!
Following you are pinterest and repinned!! Love Mazzy’s pins!!
My 10 month old started pulling his self up by himself!
My 3 months old son is now giggling, sitting with support, teething, and likes to stand all the time π
My 2.5 year old son has a new skill: imitating his favorite movies! This would be cute if it was a line but he: has taught himself to burp so he can burp like the babies in “Shrek the Third” and spitting like King Julian in “Madagascar 2.”

Little one in utero has functioning organs and lost it’s tail. I’d say milestone π
My oldest started kindergarten, taught herself how to ride a 2 wheel bike (without training wheels), and got her first wiggly tooth all in the last few months. Youngest @ 21 months has finally started talking (using 6+ words on a regular and consistent basis); he also finally sleeps well at night. Yay!
My ten month old got her first tooth and she’s walking! And my two year old is just starting potty training. Hopefully it won’t take too long (fingers double, triple crossed) and we can have that milestone to celebrate.
My son turns three in less than two weeks. His most recent milestone is WHINING. On repeat. And yes, a babycenter email told me that whining really is a milestone.
Pinned! Hope I win π
Since my 2+ yo darling daughter has no interest in the potty, I’ll have to go with my 4 yo son learning to write his name on his own. 9 letters – that’s a milestone!
My 15 month old just began sleeping in his crib – and through the night – simultaneously! Which is amazing, considering i just found out that he is going to be a big brother!
My baby boy got his first molar!!
I pinned your photo to my babies page!

My 22 month old daughter finally has learned to stand, even if it’s for a few seconds, during her fight with the rare chromosome 9 deletion. I am so proud to be her mommy because proved the doctors wrong when they told us that she would never be mobile. Even though she started crawling late, she still did it!
My 4 month old daughter started rolling from back to front and gave us her first real, hearty belly-laugh last night!
Pinned it!
I have a boy with Asperger’s Syndrome, but I also write slightly spooky children’s books. that means a lot of signings at which Mommy and other are dressed weird. this past weekend there were no freakouts AND he even dressed up. whoo hoo!
My ten month old daughter is crawling all over the house. She is pretty fast.
My twins just turned three and are both counting to 100 now. LeapFrog shows and games are AWESOME by the way. BabiesRUs happens to be where we bought their first learning Scouts when they were Harlow’s age. It really helped them learn words, alphabet, and counting.
My son just started crawling!
I followed you on pinterest π
So happy to see the milestones that Mazzy and Harlow have passed! My son Dylan, born on 9/21 at 32 weeks, graduated from the NICU 2 weeks ago, which I definitely consider to be a milestone! He’s doing so great at home. He also impressed the pediatrician this morning with his alertness, strength, and the rate by which he is gaining weight! He is our Super Preemie!
my son is 15 months old and we are introducing the potty slowly. Last night he peed in the potty, I am not sure if it was on accident because he was standing – but hey it was exciting!!!
The twins just turned three and are counting to 100 now. LeapFrog shows and games are AWESOME by the way. BabiesRUs happens to be where we bought their first learning Scouts when they were Harlow’s age. They really help with counting, alphabet, and word recognition.
My two year old recently learned (er, was coerced) to stay in her toddler bed and put herself to sleep. Me and the hubby have our nights back! And I have a little boy due in January so I NEEEEED this gift card! hehe
I followed on pinterest and pinned the graphic!
Pinned graphic as well
Is saying “I love you dude” considered a milestone? If so, that’s one we just crossed off the list!
My 5 month old is army crawling π Not sure if supposed to comment here or FB, so will there too!
Cale learned how to wash his own hands!!!! Now I am just nervous about the mess he is going to make in the bathrooms…
My three year old daughter learned to count to 10 in French!
We’ve also crossed potty training off the list with our 2.5 yr old! And our 15 month old can successfully speak all the names of our family!
Just pinned it and followed you on Pinterest too! Crossing my fingers!
My son fed himself yogurt with a spoon and said “thank you Yo Mamas”. Telling the yogurt and me, thank you. I am a proud Yo Mamas. π He is 22 months old.
Not really sure where I was suppose to leave the comment, so I commented under the comments section on the link to this article on facebook. I also pinned on pinterest. This is Yeaitsme Erica on Facebook lol. K bye.
My 6 month old boy started solids last week. He’s my second and we are skipping to finger foods and self feeding. He is attacking chunks of fruit
with a look of disbelief like “why have you been keeping this from me for so long?!” I think he likes it.
Is this a milestone… the other day my 2.5 year old correctly used the phrase “what the heck?!?!?” in a moment of frustration. It was adorable! Otherwise, I’ve got the fact that we attempted to start potty training only to be met with the unequivocable “I don’t like the potty, I want a new diaper now.” It’s been a while since we’ve hit any real milestones.
My 5 month old has started to stick out his tongue and make spitting noises with his lips trying to mimic our talking.
Our most recent milestone is talking. NONSTOP. All the words. Over and over and over.

My 7 month old (boy #4) has just started crawling with his tummy off the ground. He’s been army-man crawling for a while, and rolling since 3 months, so getting around in a better fashion hasn’t been a priority for him. He’s been pulling up to standing on furniture and sitting by himself for a month or two now, too.
Already follow on Pinterest and pinned π
Following you on Pinterest and pinned the image for the giveaway. π
My 11 month old has begun teething – yep, until now he has been completely toothless! And all this after we worked with Erin to sleep train him so now that’s all gone shot to hell….
I have 27 month old twins, and 1 recently started peeing on the potty (and has once or twice pooped on the potty!), and the other has recently learned her colours.
My 5-year-old can read a level 2 book by himself and has been working on math problems.
My 2-year-old is in the middle of potty training. (she’s being stubborn and I have NO idea where she gets that from…..ok, it’s both mom and dad)
And one of my most proud and honestly surprising milestones:
My 13-month-old baby boy who was born with clubbed foot and fibular hemimelia (little or no fibula in the legs: his happens to make his left leg inches shorter than his right) figured out a way that he can walk, despite the differences in leg length!!!
My 6 month twin boys just got two teeth each and one started to crawl.
My daughter started solids for the first time at 6 months!
My little Elly is 11 Months as well, I believe her and Harlow are about two days apart! No walking here yet, she is standing on her own now and lets go! It’s the cutest thing! She has such chubby thighs, I’ll be sad when she slims them down π

And I pinned the photo:)
I have 16 month old twins. They both recently discovered the joys of “dancing.” Now we listen to kids’ music on Pandora while practicing spinning, waving hands in the air and wiggling our tooshes. Our moves are awesome.

My 3.5 yr old has been accident free for more than two weeks now and he is the one telling us when he needs to use the potty. He now only wears diapers for bedtime. My baby girl isn’t born yet but has just passed the 34 week mark so her lungs are fully developed.
My 20 month old son started doing puzzles.
My 4.5 month old slept through the night last night (630p-615a) and my 2.5 year old just finished potty training (peeing AND pooping on the potty). I’m a happy and well-rested (for now) camper.
My 10 month old got her self from bum to belly and back for the first time this morning. I even caught it on video π
Pinned the graphic too! I love seeing Mazzy’s pins on Pinterest π

I pinned too!
