Last year, I wrote about Mazzy’s history of dressing up as badass women for Halloween. Harlow, on the other hand, has been all about fashion icons. She’s always loved an excuse to dress up extra fancy and has a penchant for layering on accessories (as a toddler, she carried a red purse over her shoulder everywhere she went), so portraying the fashion world’s most iconic looks on Halloween seemed like a natural extension. This year, we didn’t even have to buy a costume. We just used clothes in her own closet!

First there was Audrey Hepburn, as pictured above. If you remember, that year, Harlow got photographed while trick or treating and was featured in @HumansofNewYork, looking less Audrey Hepburn and more Rich Old Lady from the Upper East Side. Still iconic, nonetheless.

The following year, Harlow dressed as Anna Wintour. With her matching signature haircut, that one was almost too easy.

The year after that, Harlow was Evie from Descendants, who, if you don’t know, is a fashion designer.

In 2018, Harlow had a short stint as the Notorious RBG. Now, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was obviously about a lot more than fashion, but if you search RBG fashion, you will find many articles touting her Supreme Style.

And then there was last year. Harlow said she wanted to be a panda. BUT MAKE IT FASHION. I had no idea what she was talking about until she put the costume together herself.

I get it Harlow. After that, I decided to dress up as a Fashion Panda too. Harlow is not only a style icon, she’s a trendsetter too.

So did we do this year? I couldn’t resist. I dressed her up as Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek just for fun. We used all clothes and accessories already in Harlow’s closet, shockingly.

I should mention that Harlow has never seen the show and gives me a dirty look every time I slip up and say the name. “That’s inappropriate, Mom!” Looking back, I think we missed a huge opportunity to have Mike dress up as Johnny. He already has the eyebrows!

Should I steal the wig and do this look myself on October 31st?
