As I’ve already mentioned, my nine most popular photos on Instagram this year were all of my three-year-old Harlow. I tried to make up for that sad fact by posting all about Mazzy, even though it’s really YOUR FAULT and not mine. Please throw a “like” or two at my six-year-old every once in awhile, ‘mmmkay? Even though she’s not the one wearing a bright red wig while eating corn or spouting nonsense about doughnut eating raccoons.
Truthfully, my favorite photos last year were not of Mazzy or Harlow. They were of Mazzy and Harlow. (See what I did there???)
My favorite photos showcase the beautiful ever changing and growing relationship between my little girls. I love seeing how Mazzy and Harlow are not just my daughters, they are sisters. They have a relationship that exists all on their own.
Here are 36 photos that perfectly capture the current relationship between my two little girls:
1) Late Night Lipstick Application (it’s actually lip balm, but don’t tell them that)
2) Room Service at the St. Regis (“so this is what waffles taste like that don’t come straight from the freezer…”)

I love this! My favorite part of your blog and what I asked to see more of in 2016 🙂 My girls are 10 months and 2.5 and I love seeing their friendship grow!
This is a wonderful post. I love all the love. I have 2 daughters also, 20 months apart in age. They are currently 7 & 9 years old.
My sister and I put together a photo book on shutterfly for our mom for Christmas. We agreed to add pictures of our own weddings and our children. My section turned into all pictures of my daughters together.
She loved it!
My girls have a wonderful growing, changing, and close relationship very much like your girls. I love watching every minute of it (except when they aren’t fighting of course)
I can only hope my girls will like each other one day. Currently, my almost 2 year old (next month!) screams when my 5 year old gets near her, because the 5 year old is constantly taking stuff from her and making her fall, etc. The only time they like each other is when we do “hugs and kisses” before bed at night.
The Dreamer and the Realist photograph is the most stunning photo ever and it’s perfectly captured!
My girls are 21 months a part and I love watching their relationship blossom and grow. I can totally relate. Just seeing your girls loving on each other makes me tear up thinking about my girls! Thank you for sharing them with us!
Oy vey! I’m watching my oldest (4 1/2, currently dressed as Ladybug girl) help my youngest (2 1/2) out on a Batgirl costume and this post is making me bawl! I don’t have sisters so I feel like this is whole new territory. I sincerely hope you have made a photo book of just sister shots, you’ve inspired me to do so.
Hey Rachel! I also have 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old girls! Yeah!!
Beautiful photos of beautiful little girls. My favorite is the dreamer and the realist!
Happy Friday!

This is so beautiful and encouraging! I’m pregnant with our second and my son is two-and-a-half. I know he’ll be a great big brother, but I’m still a little nervous about it. Seeing posts like this is so reassuring.
Wonderful post! Funny and so sweet! My two daughters (7 and 4 1/2) have had their arguments over the years as happens usually with sisters but I’m so happy to see them love each other so much and take care of each other. So I tend to forget the arguments! 🙂 you must be very proud of them! Thanks got the post!
#23 – I did that exact same thing and that’s why I love this blog.
The dreamer and the realist is too beautiful. Good grief what gorgeous girls. Makes me a little sad my girlie is the meat in a brother sandwich, it sure seems like there is something very special about a sister bond, but then I see her with her boys and it’s not so bad!
I just love these pics thank you so much for sharing them.
These are all adorable, even more so when put all together to really capture how they relate to each other all the time. What a loving set of girls!
The one of them sharing an ipad!!! Love it!!! Well… love them all but that one in particular!
Beautiful!
Love this post! 🙂
OMG! I just love Mazzy and Harlow they steal my heart away! They have a beautiful bonding and I just love how you dress them!!
You girls are adorable! I have a 2 year old son and I hope if we have another child, he’s got an incredible bond like this one. So special! You’ve done an amazing job capturing this!
I’m not a mom, but hope one day when I am that my children are as adorable as this!!! I love these posts!
This post is giving me so much hope. I just had my second consecutive miscarriage this week. My son turns two this month. I have been so concerned with spacing kids out in age. Seeing these two play, laugh and love makes me realize we still have time for our next baby. I really needed to see this today. ❤️
