Two weeks ago, I started the #rewardyourselfie Instagram contest with Ergobaby, the company who singlehandedly saved my sanity with their baby carrier when I was a new mom. You can read about my love for my Ergo here.
Since moms are usually the ones taking all the photos of their kids (and leaving themselves out of their family albums in the process), we asked moms to upload selfies with both themselves and their children. Smiles optional.
The results are adorable, hilarious, heartwarming, and undeniably happy. Here are the 14 proud mama selfies who won the contest, plus 14 more I just could not leave out. (The first 14 photos listed are the winners and have already been notified.)

A huge thanks to Ergobaby for partnering with me on this contest and helping inspire moms to put themselves in their pictures. The 14 winners will each take home an Ergobaby wrap (perfect for newborn snuggles), the Ergobaby Natural Curve Nursing Pillow, the Ergobaby Swaddler and the original Ergobaby carrier in their newest design— Indigo Mint Dots.
As I’ve mentioned before, I highly recommend the Ergobaby carrier to every new mom. Not only did the carrier play an essential part in keeping my babies happy while I was handsfree, the Ergo is specifically the brand you should buy for the most comfort and support. I have heard many people complain about the discomfort of carriers and it is almost always because they have not bought a good one. You should not feel any weight on your shoulders or your back if you are using an Ergo correctly.
Thanks to all who entered and I truly wish I could give prizes to everyone. But at the very least, you all have at least one photo of you with your kids!

This contest was sponsored by Ergobaby, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I notice the mummy from number 25 (The try to keep up selfie) is already wearing an ergo. Smart move! Ergos are by far the most comfortable and easy to use baby carriers I ever tried. I popped my (nearly) 4 yr old into the old Ergo on my back the other day for the first time in ages, because he was a little cranky and I had no time to stop and indulge his mood. His funk improved instantly in that thing. In fact, he was rather offended to be turfed out of it when I got into the car. He obviously assumed his cushy ride would continue in the drivers seat all the way to the shops. I’ll have to get rid of my precious Ergo soon, which will be hard because I’ve turned into a bit of an Ergo Evangelist.
