They are all BIG TICKET items and only stuff that grown-ups would get excited about. No toys, no blankies, no diapers. Absolutely nothing for your kids. JUST YOU.
As always, you must subscribe to my daily or weekly newsletter to enter. Instructions will be appear in this Sunday’s email and the winner will be revealed the following Sunday.
Want to see what’s inside? Of course you do…
1. MZ Wallace Large Sutton in Magnet ($245)
First we’ll talk about the bag itself, which once again is MZ Wallace. Why? Because I LOVE THEM. And— I am hosting a Mom’s Night Out event this Friday night at their SOHO shop (93 Crosby St.) from 5pm-8pm. There will be bubbly, bites, shopping, free manicures, and a Remarkably Average book signing by YOURS TRULY.
The Large Sutton fits a ton of stuff with inner pockets, a detachable insert bag and a detachable cross body strap.
2. Helen Ficalora necklace – 18″ Fine 14k Gold Chain ($125) and one Alphabet Charm ($165)
Secondly, we’ve got a 14K gold necklace from Helen Ficalora which is the necklace I’ve been wearing every day for the past seven years. It was my push present from Mike when I was pregnant with Mazzy. He bought me the “H” when Harlow was born. I get countless compliments on it. It’s special but small enough for every day wear. I think it’s perfect.
4. iRobot Roomba 980 ($799.99)
Third, we’ve got a Roomba from iRobot. The Roomba is a robot vacuum that can clean floors, carpets, corners, under your couch and then get itself back to its home base to recharge all by itself. It’s also my family’s new pet. We named him Kevin. And that was before my whole feud with Kevin from the coffee shop. (People who follow me on Snapchat will know what I am talking about.) My sister and her husband have one that they named Norbert. Apparently, naming your Roomba is A THING.
5. Braava Jet 240 ($169.99)
If the Roomba isn’t enough for your robot cleaning needs, how about a iRobot mop too???
6. $100 Teleflora Gift Card ($100 plus free delivery)
I’m also giving away a $100 gift card from Teleflora to service all your Mother’s Day flower needs. Feel free to use the gift card on yourself too. You can just say they were a Mother’s Day gift to you from Mommy Shorts!
7. The Mommy Shorts Guide to Remarkably Average Parenting + The Remarkably Average Mug
And lastly, of course, I’ve got a the ultimate Mother’s Day gift which is the remarkably average book + remarkably average mug combo. FYI, The Mommy Shorts Guide to Remarkably Average Parenting currently has 5 stars on Amazon and over 100 overwhelmingly positive reviews so please don’t just take my word for it— trust the Amazon consumers! It’s also only $10 for the hardcover. If you have no time to read a book, the audible is now available as well. I can read it right to you! In mugs news, I ordered a bunch more so they are still available for purchase.
If you’d like to see me talk about all these items, plus answer a few Q&A questions to switch things up, here’s the video below.
To enter to win the swag bag, you must be a Mommy Shorts subscriber. If you are not already, you can sign up for my daily or weekly newsletter here.
Instructions to enter can only be found in this Sunday night’s newsletter! I mention it nowhere else so my dedicated readers have the best shot possible. Winner will be announced the following Sunday.

I would buy flowers for both of my sisters! They are amazing. And I would probably name my Roomba Zoomba.
Subscribed! Can’t wait to read more 🙂
Flowers would definitely be for my beautiful and very pregnant daughter. The Roomba would be Ricky as in Ricky Ricardo Roomba; I love Lucy!
I have a few ideas for the flowers: a random mom who derserved them, my daughter’s teacher or my sister who is having a baby soon. I would name my roomba YAFA (short for: You Are Freaking Awesome). And all those gifts are amazing!
I would buy flowers for my mom friends. It takes a village and they deserve it. As for the roomba, he would be called Randy.
Flowers would be for my sister-in-law who is currently supermomming three kids (to include a newborn) while my brother is deployed.
My three-year-old just recieved a butterfly necklace that “gives her the power to name things”, leading me to believe that the roomba would be called “Sparkle”.
I would give the flowers to my older sis. She’s been such a great example of motherhood for me and she deserves something that will brighten her day!!
Also, I would name my Roomba Gordon. Just cuz
I would buy flowers for my grandmother. She’s recovering from back surgery at my house, lord help her! I have a 2 yo, 5yo and 15 yo, all boys!
I would name my irobot George!
I would send flowers to my mom who will be 89 this month and is in a nursing home in New Hamphire (I live in Massachusetts but can’t spend Mother’s Day with her due to my job). She won’t remember who sent them to her but maybe it will brighten her day and make her smile for a small second.
I would name my Roomba Zoomba the Roomba, as it zooms around my house cleaning up my messes.
With the gift card, I would send flowers to my Grandma and my Mom. They both deserve to have some cheer in their homes. My mom has a green thumb and my grandma lives alone. We would name our Roomba: Marlin. I’m expecting baby #3 and my 4 year old daughter insists it’s a girl (we aren’t finding out til baby is born) whom we will name “Marlin” (not the name we have picked out either). I figure this way, she at least gets something to name Marlin!
I would buy flowers for all the “moms” in my family.. whether they are my mom or not.
Obviously my mom would get flowers. Then my sister’s the the mother’s whom I was a surrogate for. Moms everywhere deserve flowers
I’d spend half the flower gift card on Mothers Day flowers for my mom then spend the other half on Fathers Day flowers for…..my mom.
She’s been mom and dad since day one and she deserves to be recognized for everything she’s sacrificed for my sister and I.
Also I’d name our Roomba “Sucky” 😝
I’d send flowers to my mom. We’re military, so we don’t get to visit nearly as much as we’d like. She’s been an amazing mom to me and very much deserves a surprise! As for a Roomba name, we’d probably go with Link since our boys are crazy about Legend of Zelda.
Holy mother of all giveaways – everything looks incredible! I would send flowers to my mom and sister because they’re the two women I’ve always loved and looked up to throughout my whole life! And if we had a roomba, I would name it Rocky because obviously that would totally rock to not be the one doing the vacuuming anymore!!
Selfishly I want to buy flowers for myself but if there’s someone who deserves them it would be my Mother-In-Love! She is the most down to earth, wonderful human, grandma and friend. I hit it big time with her! She deserves all the pretty things for loving me through those tough days.
Oh and Ricky Roomba.
I would use the flower gift card to get something nice for my mom and for myself (I never get flowers!).
The Roomba would definitely be HAL.
Flowers for me and my mom…. And I’m pretty sure my kid would nsame it Thomas (after Thomas the tank engine). Lol Nice swag!!
For my mom, she’s my biggest supporter as I was in college and trying to make my dreams to come true
I would name it Chiquita. (Means small in Spanish
I would buy flowere for the teachers at my daughters’ school and daycare. They are amazing and spend so much time with my girls and have helped shaped them into the little people they are.
And we would name our Roomba “Zoom Zoom”, so says my 5 year old, for obvious reasons 😉
I would send the flowers to my GRANDMOTHER, she would love that and I think we would name our Roomba, Daisy because I have always wanted a pet I could call daisy!! Happy mother’s Days!
I’d send flowers to my grandmother! Since I moved away from home, I don’t talk to her nearly enough. This would be a great way to let her know that I’m always thinking of her.
As for the Roomba–I think I’d name it “Garçon”, like what snooty people call waiters at restaurants! Ha!
I usually get two bouquets and split them up between all of the moms in my life. One is split in two for Mom and mom-in-law, the other goes to Grandmas and sisters.
Wiith that much flower power, though, I think I’d just buy as many cheap bouquets as I can afford, break them up, and wander around public places giving random people flowers for shits and giggles. Caz #whynot?
Oh, shit! Roomba name! Definitely Clithsby 😉
Such a fun bag! I would use the floral gift card to send flowers to my grandmother and brighten up her nursing home! It’s a hard adjustment. And I would totally name the roomba Max!
I would buy flowers for the other women in my small business. We are all moms in my shop and there are only a handful of us (including the childcare staff member). I like to show them appreciation for not only good work but all the other struggles in life as a working mom.
The Roomba would have to be named by the children, but I like the manufacturer’s name, iRobot.
I would buy a bouquet for my mother and another one for my husband’s amazing grandmother. They both deserve nothing less. I would name my Roomba “Grace” because she’d be my saving grace with a house full of a husband, two young children and my father with dementia it’s impossible to keep the floors clean!
I would buy my grandma flowers. She is 86 and doesn’t get flowers nearly often enough (I do my best, but she deserves more). I think I might need to see the roomba, is he a Fred or is she a Georgina….won’t know until I get her/him home! 😉
I would buy my mom flowers and my roomba would be named Nick. 😀
I would definitely buy flowers for myself, and for a few Galentine’s boss lady besties. Then, when the flowers die and I don’t notice, my Roomba Brian can clean up the dried petals.
I’d send flowers to a few friends who live far from me…I miss them so much! As for my future Roomba: Mambo, for no particular reason.
Wowza!! This swag bag looks ahhhhhmazing!
With a gift card for flowers, I’d send an arrangement to my grandmother. My grandpa is currently transitioning to an assisted living and memory care facility, and while it’s obviously been rough on him, it has been equally difficult for her. They have been married 51 years and have never been apart, so having him live somewhere else is going to be hard. Something with lots of purple flowers would hopefully brighten her day.
That swag bag looks sweet! I would send the flowers to my grandmother in law, who found out this week that she needs surgery. She ALWAYS sends flowers to me for every occasion. And I’d probably let my son name the Roomba, which means there’s a 80% chance he’d name it after himself, Owen. Other 20% who knows!
I would send flowers to my mom and sister. Then some to my friend who’s having a really hard time lately. $100 would help bring the cost down a lot! Thanks Mommy Shorts!
I would buy some flowers for myself!! Because dang it I deserve some!!
Ps: my roomba’s name would be Patricia!!!
I would buy flowers for my 3 daughters who are 5, 3 and almost 1 (May23rd) especially my oldest would absolutely love it because she absolutely loves flowers! I would get myself some nice ones too 🙂 I would name my roomba Harry – I just like that name! And I love a clean house too!
I would love to send flowers to my great aunt. She is my go to when I’m needing mommy advice or to be talked back from the ledge.
I would name the Roomba ‘Rella, short for Cinderella.
I would buy sunflowers for my mother, who loves yellow, and beautiful tropical flowers for my mother-in-law, who loves pink! I would also get some flowers for my husband, because darn it, that guy is awesome! Lol and I would name my Rooma Uvac… I don’t vacuum anymore, U vac! 😉
I would send my $100 bouquet to my best friend for Mother’s Day from her kids. She just went back to work after having her baby and I think it would make her day! I would probably name my Roomba “Matt Damon” just so I could say things like, “Babe, can’t you put the toilet seat down?! For Fu@&’s sake, Matt Damon is scrubbing the floors, the least you can do is put the damn seat down!”
I’d buy flowers for my girls teachers. Bc…they really deserve them! I’d have to name it Lily bc every single baby doll and pet is named Lily.
The flowers for my youngest daughter’s birth mother – to thank her again for the priceless gift she’s given us. As for the roomba, it would probably be nicknamed “scary” by my youngest.
I’d send flowers to my friend V who is struggling to get pregnant. And I’d name the Roomba Ralph. Happy Mother’s Day!
I’d probably send the flowers to my kids’ teachers. (Totally spaced on teacher appreciation week) thank you for third contest, looks amazing! Oh, and I’d name the vacuum “Lucky” because it’d be doing the cleaning not me!!!! Thanks again.
I would send flowers to my cousin whose son is in critical condition in the hospital 🙏. My girls would probably name a Rhoomba Sweepy or Fred.
What an awesome swag bag! I need it all!!! 🙂 If I won I would send flowers to my mom and dad … they are celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary on 5/6. So much love between them and such wonderful examples of true love and marriage for us, their children.
I would name my Roomba, BIG BERTHA! She’d have a big job ahead of her every time she went to work. I run a daycare, so vacuuming is a daily chore!! xoxo
I would send the flowers to my beautiful 82 year old momma who is 1200 miles away in San Diego! I would name my roomba Suzy-Q! Love love love Mommy Shorts! ❤️
I would buy the flowers for my sister who is in the home stretch of her third year of Medical School! I would name the roomba Sofia, per my two year olds request 😉
Most importantly I would send flowers to my mom, who helped deliver my baby at home in October. She is a natural doula and we never even knew! Also, I would send some to my best friend who we just helped pack up all their things and move to another city. As for the Roomba, Little Jerry would be a Perfect fit in our family! Thanks so much for the chance to win all of this!!
I would probably give the bouquet to my daughters amazing nanny. She cares for my little girl and I can not thank her enough. The roomba, I would name Chex, because that is what it would end up picking up constantly!
I would give the flowers to my friend, who like me, is a single momma. She works so hard to give her kiddo every opportunity and experience and is a great friend to lean on with my own single mom woes too!
As for the Roomba, I think I’d name it Mommy’s Best Friend. (Cause really!)
I would send flowers to some of the best mothers I know! Because how awesome is it to get a reminder of that unexpectedly?
The Roomba would have to be called Jeeves, or Alfred
I buy flowers for myself. I deserve it! I asked my 3 year old what we would name a roomba…His answer was Cowgirl. For the record this is also what he wants us to name his new sister due in September. Not a chance, buddy!
I would send flowers to a few of my best mom friends!! I would also name my Roomba Monica from Friends!
I’d send the flowers tonight mom. Mother of 5 kids who are all serving in the us military! And I’d name the Roomba….Steve.
I would give them to my beautiful, strong mom! Mom to 3 biological kids, 2 adopted kids, and her many foster children! I would name my Roomba Oliver.
I’d send flowers to my mom and mommom and I’d name my roomba Bob because doesn’t he look like a Bob??
I’d get flowers for the most amazing mom ever!!!!! And I’d name it ruby!
I would get them for my wife because she always gets me flowers and she works so hard to keep mommy and baby T so happy.
I would name it roomie because I don’t like to steer away from their “birth name”. My car color is Mulberry and her name is Mulby. Ha I keep it real.
I have a Roomba named Yvette so my second Roomba would keep the French maod theme going and I name it Claudia. Id send the flowers to my sister. She’s not a mom but she’s awesome!
I’d send flowers to my mother in law and oldest daughter, who are both deserving! 🌸I’d name the Roomba “Mommy’s Little Helper!” It would be a wonderful help in my 🏡
This swag bag is amazing and I never have won a contest but I’m really hoping to win this one! I would definitely buy flowers for my mom and mother in law . I was in and out of the hospital a lot this year and they really stepped up to help with our kids when we really needed them during a scary time. I have been trying to show them just how much we appreciate them. Also I would name my roomba “Scooter”
I would send flowers to my bff and my mom, they’re always helping out with my 3 kids and make my life lighter and more fun.
As for the roomba I’d name it my “muchacha” which means lady/girl in spanish and in Mexico that’s a sweet way we call the cleaning lady.
I would buy flowers for my amazing mom, Joan.
My 3-year-old would probably want to name our Roomba Minnie or Daisy, but I’m thinking Ruby.
Do I really have to send the flowers to someone else? I can’t keep them? Well done my mom doesn’t like fresh flowers and my mil wouldn’t appreciate them I would send a bouquet to two different friends- one in Maryland who my kids affectionately call “Miami Nani” after she so graciously watched my then 2 year old twins for 10 days so my dh and I could go on a much needed vacation, friends like those are rare we gotta cherish her. The second bouquet would go to my friend Jackie, a single mom who’s doing a great job “winging it”. She has a medically challenged child and a special ed child and got herself out of a messed up marriage, found herself a job and a house and is doing a wonderful job. I admire her perseverance and courage.
I would name my Roomba “I”.Well of course his name would have to stay secret from
my DH and kids. How else can I get credit when we come home to a clean for and I can say “I washed it” or when my DH asks me to take over hw duty I can just say “I am washing the floor”. Oh how much free time I can actually have and still enjoy clean floors.
For the
Your flower recipients are sweet choices. and I love your Roomba name!
This swag bag is AWEEESOMEEEE! Nice collection of amazing stuff. Thanks MommyShorts!
I would get flowers for my mother. She LOVES flowers and I would write something sweet in the card, and she’d probably cry. (my MIL doesn’t care for flowers, so if you ever give away one of those fruit bouquets, that’s what she’d get.)
Is it cheating to say I’d name our Roomba DJ Roomba? Our children would probably not go for that. So I’ll dream that we’d give it an orange and white paint job and name it BB-8 : )
Since my mom lives back in India, I would buy flowers for two kick-ass women that I know that live here in the US. I think I might call my Roomba, dance-y, since I will be dancing to tunes in my head when he cleans the house and will make him dance to my tunes as well …. lol.
During my master’s pursuit, I did some work at a local teen mom center. I grew a relationship with mom in particular that stood out to me; the one in the program doing everything she could to get out, not stay in for as long as she could… we ended up becoming roommates and though time and distance now separates us, we share a special bond. Mother’s Day is a special day when we think about each other, and I would use the telefloral gift card to surprise her lavishly this mother’s day. And I would name my roomba Butler… because I would never get tired of telling people we have a butler 😂 Just kidding… I’d let the kids name it… it would probably end up being named Frank or Toots.

I love following your adventures in life and motherhood.
Flowers for my mama, and naming my Roomba Rosie!

I would buy flowers for my grandmas!
I would nickname the roomba hank- just cuz
Since it is a nice amount of money, I’d buy some for my sister, mom, close girlfriend and myself!
And I’d name my roomba Bob!
I’d buy flowers for my mom and I. The name of the robot would be either Mrs. Carson (downton abbey) or Andrew (Robin William’s character in Bicentennial Man).
I would definitely send flowers to my mother in law. She is the most generous and selfless person I know. She is constantly giving to others (including her 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren – all under 5) and expects nothing in return. The Roomba would be named “Wall-E” for obvious reasons. Also, my son’s favorite movie at the moment. He’s going through a robot phase. 🙂
I’d buy the flowers for my mom! A huge bouquet. And I’d name my roomba Harvey. Because that’s what it looks like.
I would send flowers to one of my best friends who is currently expecting her first baby. She lost her own mama earlier this year, while expecting, and has been having complications through the pregnancy. She needs all the love and support she can get right now! And a reminder that she is wonderful and strong.
I’d send flowers to my lovely mom, of course 🙂

I would send flowers to my mom and my MIL. I would name my Roomba ‘Dave’
Would buy flower for my mom, since we live so far apart. And I would name my roomba Trump, because he sucks.

As for the Roomba, I’m a child of the 80s, so definitely Officer Murphy!
I would buy flowers for my two beautiful best friends. This mom gig would be even harder without other moms to celebrate with, and commiserate with. Watching all of our kids grow up together and asking their advice when needed is the best medicine for any bad day.
I would name my Roomba- Harry- lol- that’s probably what it would pick up between my daughter and I, or possible dusty. The Mop might have to be our new friend Spot!
Love this! I would give flowers to my mother and mother in law because they are amazing. And I’d name the room a “dog” because I’ve been trying to convince my husband we need a dog if only to clean the floor after our kids “eat dinner” (aka drop half on the floor)!
The flowers would go to my mom and I would name my Roomba Stanley.
The #1 person that comes to mind to send flowers to is obviously my amazing Mama! Then I would send some to my fellow mommy friends who feel under appreciated! As for the Roomba, his name would be Dobby the house elf 😝
I would send flowers to my BFF who is buying her first home and has had THEWORST experience with her realtor. She needs something positive right now. And, I’d name the roomba Ronald. Ronald the Roomba has a nice ring to it 🙂
I would get flowers for my sister!
i’d send them to my mom and I would name my robot Rosie, like in the Jetsons.
Rosie the Roomba, I doubt that my dachshund will like it though, he can’t stand the vaccum, but he’s gotten used to it.
