GIVEAWAY: 4 Monica + Andy Cuddle Boxes
Last week, I was invited to a beautiful little breakfast at one of my favorite spots in NYC— the garden at Laudree in SOHO. What looks like a little French macaron shop on West Broadway, opens up to the one of the most stunning indoor outdoor spaces in downtown NY.
The breakfast was for Monica + Andy (one of my go-to online shops for baby gifts) who was celebrating the launch of their NYC same-day delivery service called: We Deliver When You Deliver.

Everything about this breakfast was cute— from the fashion forward moms with newborns slung around their shoulders to the “Make Your Own Bouquet” station to the three tiered trays of french pastries to the soft muslin blankets and cotton bodysuits stacked in “Cuddle Boxes” to grab on your way out.
Later that day, Suzanne Brown, a photographer for Monica + Andy’s met Mazzy, Harlow and me in Washington Square Park after I picked the girls up from school. The girls had worn their prima ballerina dresses for the occasion.

The dresses are super soft and stretchy with a three layers of soft tulle. The straps are adjustable, which is very helpful for the waist to fall correctly.
Over the dresses they each wore a cozy grey Hemingway sweater to keep warm.
Even though the girls looked adorable and it was a beautiful day, Mazzy complained that she wasn’t feeling very well, which is why she looks kind of glum in these pictures.
I got the girls ice cream cones to try to put Mazzy in a better mood, but she was clearly not her usual self.
Harlow tried being silly to get a smile from her big sister but that didn’t seem to work either.
Mazzy lied down on the blanket and Harlow lied down next to her which was very sweet.
Mazzy said her ear was hurting and started to feel warm so I called the pediatrician to make an appointment later that afternoon.
As a result, the shoot was very brief but the photographer was lovely and said Monica likes photos of families as they really are and not to worry that everyone wasn’t smiling.
I was shocked when I saw the photos because they truly are gorgeous, even though we weren’t at our best. We’re still us and it’s real and that’s okay.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sweeter picture of Harlow than the one below:
You really can’t beat a tulle, ice cream and a baby belly all in one photo.
I’m very excited about Monica + Andy’s new “We Deliver When You Deliver” service because I am one of those people who would like to buy my new mom friends unique and thoughtful gifts but don’t have the time to shop for them. Then I took her home and cuddled while watching movies on the couch.
Luckily with some medication, she recovered quickly and I’m sure the next time she wears her cherry blossom prima ballerina dress, there will be a much bigger smile on her face.

Everyone I know that was pregnant just had their babies! Grey Coming Home Cuddle Box II for baby due in March.
My sister in law is due with her first in just a few weeks. I’d love to get my nephew a sweater romper in gray so he would be cozy warm for his first winter!
