Harlow loves putting on a show. The only problem? Every time I try to get her performances on video, she starts running around the house while she’s singing and the video ends up looking like something that might give viewers a seizure.
My solution?
Place her in a box.
Here’s Harlow singing “Jingle Bells” while standing in a box, using her Micro Kickboard as a microphone. The kickboard is on wheels, which makes it even better.
Merry Christmas in June!

My favorite memory was all of my baby’s first Christmas!
The moment that was the best was when we went to a cookie swap. Kids running around and than Santa showed up. He had a chair set up so if you wanted to go talk and say hi you could. I was thinking my son wouldn’t want to unless I was right there. Well guess who Was first in line. Walked right up. Got in santa lap. Answered santa questions. My 3 year old suprised me and he had the biggest smile.
love all the family time!
Harlow is a ham. So cute.
One of the funnier things this holiday was watching my nephew open gifts that were for “the whole family.” One of the gifts was a set of throw pillows. He opens it, and with true thrill in his eyes, he launches the pillows in the air, makes Hulk fists and says, “Yazzzz!!! Pillows!!!”
My favorite moment this Christmas was having my two year of eagerly check to see if Santa ate his cookies!
My favorite moment was just my kids excitment at opening the gifts yesterday. They were just so excited.
Harlow looks so little here!
My favorite part of Christmas was just spending time together and the kids opening the presents they were hoping for!
merry hanukwanzmas
My favorite part was doing all the running around on Christmas Eve and then staying home in our pjs all day on actual Christmas. My 4yo thanking us profusely for “having Christmas” was a close second. 😀
The funniest moment of my holiday was when my sister’s boyfriend’s 4 year old daughter explained to us that ‘some people are fat sometimes’ upon meeting someone for the first time ???
My favorite memory this year was watching the kids reaction to all the little live pets meowing and barking from under the wrapping paper! They were both terrified and excited at the same time, the look on their faces was hilarious 🙂
We love spending the day playing with our niece and nephews. Christmas is a big celebration here in a small mountain town in Colorado.
My 5 year old was so funny at church on Christmas Eve during the music portion. She had people unable to keep a straight face or able to even focus of the stage. She was definitely taking the idea of praising Jesus to a whole new level. I’m not sure where she has seen the hands in the air stuff…but for the love!
Harlow is adorable!
MY favorite moment this season was the fact that my baby sister had her very first child Christmas Eve morning. My brothers son was born about two weeks ago, so that is two new babies! I can’t wait for next Christmas!
I’d love to pick a favorite moment but we still have two more Christmases to go. Both sides of the family are within a few hours of driving so Christmas spreads over several days here.
star!
Our 2 year old wanted a “big girl bed” from Santa this year. Watching her come down the stairs to see her new big girl bed…Best Thing Ever!!!
Love this! Such a fun age. My three year old has been full or questions and ideas this year. Way more into Christmas than last year. As exhausting as it is for me, it is fun. She has become quite the director, demanding we all participate in either her receitals of Christmas songs she (sort of) knows or acting out mary and Joseph looking for a place to have Jesus. Such fun!
My twins were baptized the weekend before Christmas. During the ceremony, when the pastor asks if we renounce Satan etc., my normally shy little girl decides that it would be the perfect time to show off her only skill and wave to the choir and the entire congregation. Sigh. On the upside, everyone waved back.
My funniest memory this holiday was baking Chanukah cookies with my daughter and she insisted that the blue sprinkles needed to be in the dough!!
so much personality in one little package. My kiddo loves to perform, too, but only for me. Everyone else thinks she’s mute because she’s so terribly shy!!
Harlow is the best! My 2 year old loves to sing so I should totally put her in a box too!
Too cute! I love watching little ones perform.
My 4 year old is in preschool and they learned Christmas carols to sing at a nursing home last week. She now will randomly break out into her own mix of 4 different carols several times a day.
Funny moment of the holiday?
Too many really.
My 4 year old son cane running toward our room and clapped his hands and yells! “Santa came and he didn’t eat all the cookies! (With a big disappointed sigh!).
He also got more excited over an r2d2 bop it, than the gift he actually asked for Christmas (a toy roller coaster).
Also, anytime someone asked what he got us he said ‘nothing’. Because he knew it was a secret.
I’m so excited for this swag bag! ?
Our funniest moment this season was the Detroit Free Press featured an article about the holidays and took pictures at my daughter’s preschool Christmas concert. One of the pictures they published was a group shot of her class on stage; and sure enough my daughter had her finger up her nose!
Hi! By far my favorite memory this year has been spending time with my newborn. Creating new traditions and so much baking! Fun to read everyone’s memories
What a fun swag bag! I loved Christmas this year with our 3 kids under 3! Our twins loved their new magnatiles, and we loved giving them a gift that baby brother can play with and we don’t have to worry about tiny pieces.
Cuteness!
The best part of Christmas was watching my 20 month old daughters eye light up when she realized there was a toy under all that paper. Every time she ripped open a new present her expression was one of total amazement
The best part of Christmas was the photo booth we set up for our Christmas gathering. We had props and hats and with wine, it was hilarious! Everyone from the 5 year olds to my 96 year old Grandma participated. It was a blast!
It was a wonderful holiday, but I’m glad it’s over, too much family and traveling! Looking forward to some time off and relaxing at home. This morning my 3 y.o. Couldn’t decide what to do we played play doh, trains, and colored within the first 15 minutes he was up.
We went to the uncle’s large house for Christmas Eve. My five-year old was talking about how cool it was and I said that it was way too big for us and wondered how they keep up with the cleaning. Without missing a beat, she said, “Well, they don’t have any kids.” ?
I loved getting to watch my almost 4 year old light up when she opened her new slippers from Santa!
My favorite part was watching all the young cousins pretend to be in a band and play “Hanukkah oh Hanukkah” 🙂
Adorable!
I am the only sibling who lives out of town, so I love having everyone together for the holidays to eat well, talk lots, and play board games 🙂
This year my 3 yr old is more aware of presents and Santa so when he noticed other houses starting to have gifts under their trees he would come home look at our tree with so much sadness and say Santa didn’t bring me any presents. He did this everyday for a week poor buddy. Then when he spent the day at his grandmas house he came home and said “mom! Santa brought lots of presents for me at Nana’s! Santa doesn’t like sour tree and that why we don’t have presents” haha! He also said our tree didnt work and we need a new one. Smh!
My sweet daughter who has had severe food allergies tried crab legs for the first time and liked it (and didn’t have a reaction)!
The highlight of Christmas this year was watching my daughter open presents. She’said almost 4 and was really excited about everything. After opening her last present, she hugged the box and said “This is the best Christmas EVER!”.
My funniest moment so far was when my newly 2 year old toddler decided she was going to try and say “gingerbread” during holiday dinner and it somehow came out sounding like “bubble butt”. So when everyone started laughing, of course she thought the attention was great and so she started chanting it.
“Bubble butt! Bubble butt! Bubble butt!”
My favorite holiday moment has been being together with my boys and not feeling like I should be cleaning or doing something. Being together is what I’m supposed to be doing.
One of the funniest things that happened this Christmas was my husband thinking he found an awesome deal on a guitar for our 4 year old son (being all smug about it) then it arrived and was about 1/3 of the size we needed it to be/ were expecting it to be. He buys thing online all of the time without looking at measurements- haha!
My fav part is how my 3 year old has really understood and enjoyed all aspects of this time. Especially when he greets us with “Happy Thanks- Happy Merry Christmas time!!”
I love little girls. I have 3 myself, and I enjoy them so much. I never want them to grow up.
Funniest moment: upon M & H’s suggestion we got “beanboozled” for Christmas. I said “get some paper towels in case you need to spit them out.” My 4 yo says “oh no….I can just eat them!” ? As I suspected…with the first “booger” bean she is racing to the kitchen for anything to spit into!! Mother knows best ?
My kids love watching Mazzy and Harlow on Snapchat. This is such a cute video and a good idea! I’ll have to try it with my own kids.
My daughter just got to the age where she is singing. She tone deaf like her daddy and I love it. I am constantly spying on her when she is quietly playing by herself and singing
My favorite holiday moment is my 7 yo telling me she didn’t need to make a list for Santa because he sees her when she is sleeping and he sees her when she’s awake so he knows what she wants.
My favorite moment was when my younger Siblings decided to turn our christmas Brunch into a musical brunch. Instead of talking normal they would sing every word that came out of their mouth.
Funniest moment this Christmas was when our 3 year old told an aunt she was old
My christmas funniest moment was when mi 18 month baby started dancing the christmas sons at my sister in law party!
Favorite moment…watching my husband watch videos of the grand babies first Christmas. They are far away, but lots of pictures and videos were sent. Hope to be with them on Christmas one year soon!
My favorite moment was waking up and enjoying our sons first Christmas! He is 4 months old and will never remember it, but we will for forever 🙂
Our funniest moment is the pure terror and uncertainty I feel with my 3 yo running around the house naked – we are potty training. Boy #2 is stubborn as hell and might just poop under the tree… :\
My favorite moment was the day after we got our tree I surprised the kids and put some presents under it. I thought I was ahead of the game already having things purchased AND wrapped. Little did I know that when I took a shower, my four-year-old twins would unwrap everything. We still had 10 days until Christmas.
We talked about Santa for weeks with our 2 year old since she cried last year. She was excited until we got in the same room with him and she started penching the back of my arm. She burst into tears as soon as she was on his lap. Now, any time someone asks her about santa she says “I cried. Aunt Amy saved me!
I’m not sure if this is funny or sad, but my 4 yr old son walked up to my mother in law after opening presents asking “is there more?” Thanks kid! Make it look like we have no manners
Dressing up our 3 mo old and 2.5 yr old in matching santa suits and attempting to get them to sit together for a pocture in front of the christmas tree.
My favorite happening from this season was this one: We went to Bass Pro Shops to get the free picture with Santa. After waiting for more than an hour we took the pic. Santa had a lazy eye and my five year old had no trouble at all asking to his face WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYE SANTA???… After being humiliated in front of everyone I dragged him out of the picture spot and waited for my 4×6 free pic, and payed for the digital one (just 10$ btw!) and suddenly I realize my son isn’t with me anymore… He went back to the picture spot, interrupting the next family’s picture, just to tell Santa that we don’t have a chimney… How are you going to get in? Do you need my mom to leave the door unlocked??… Lazy eyed Santa smiled and told him he had a magical key that opened all doors so he shouldn’t worry about it. =)
My favorite memory was my almost 2yo son Max officially unwrapping his first present on his own. He was trying so carefully to open the present without ripping the paper. And every time it did, he would look up at us w/ big eyes to make sure he wasn’t in trouble (because he recently got in trouble for ripping a page out of one of his story books).
The best thing about Christmas was dancing with my family in front of the Christmas light display downtown on Christmas night. No one else was around the music was loud and the lights were pretty. Such a good end to a wonderful Christmas.
My daughter is 5. This is really the first Christmas she completely understands what is happening. On Christmas Eve she asked how many presents Santa was going to bring her. We tried to tell her about quality vs quantity. Her response was “3? 4? 5?” Too soon for that lesson. The next morning, after she had opened a couple gifts, she picked up another gift with her name on it. She slapped her head, fell to the floor and said “oh my goodness!” We asked her what was wrong. She said “it’s for me!” It was so authentic and adorable.
Our Walgreens was finishing up their Toys for Tots run while my daughter and I were picking up gingerbread house supplies. She was whining and begging for m&ms or some other candy when she noticed santa watching her. She got really red and said “uh whoops…. i was just kidding!”
A) This is the best Harlow video, ever!
B) Our best holiday moment so far was surprising my niece after school, after telling her we weren’t planning on flying home for Christmas. Her face was priceless.
My favorite moment of the holiday season was seeing the look of joy on my husband’s face when he opened his Doctor Who Fourth Doctor Scarf tie!
My Favorite moment this Christmas was seeing my 2 year olds face when he saw the presents under the tree.
Jingle bells was also my go to song ! Sing your heart out Harlow! Happy Holidays!
Omg that’s just too cute!!! And such a great idea to put her in a box (I might need to try that one too hehehe) My 4 year old was singing “Bonne Fête Jésus” (Happy Birthday Jesus) in the car yesterday ~ it was adorable and kept her busy while we waited in the car. I got it on video 🙂 it was one of my favorite moments from this Christmas 🙂
My favorite moment has been my brother playing legos and videos with my kids!
Today while shopping at Dick’s sporting goods to us our Christmas gift cards, my two year old son was walking around saying poop and holding his butt. I kept checking, there was no poop. After a while, he stops, and pulls down his pants and diaper in the middle of the store!
My favorite moment was COMPLETELY surprising the 14 year old with a gift that I have had waiting in the closet since August. So pleased I didn’t spill the beans!
My funniest moment was when I tried to put a pair of reindeer antlers on my cat. I figured since she was fat I would be able to catch her, but no, she broke a land speed record?
My favorite moment of this holiday season was watching my 3-year-old open his presents. To see the joy on his face was awesome, and I love Christmas so much more as I see how excited he gets for the holidays.
favortite moment of the holidays is watching my family having fun together. love these special moments and memories we are making
My favorite memory this holiday season was watching my 3 year old when he saw that Santa came. The magic is in full force at this age!
I would say my favorite memory from the holiday has simply been seeing the magic in my 4 year olds face. She is a true believer in all things holiday and I love it. She for sure got my holiday loving heart.
So cute!
I am just enjoying having a reason to bake. I LOVE baking but don’t like to have it in the house, so holiday parties are perfect for me!
My 2 favorite parts were watching my 5 year old love everything from Santa & my 10 month old open presents. He she squealed & loved all the paper.
My favorite moment has been having my entire family at my house for Christmas. My parents are divorced and remarried, but are thankfully still friends, so we still do our Christmases all together as one big family. It makes me so happy that we can all be together!
My favorite part of Christmas was when the kids ALL started playing with their old toys ten minutes after opening the new ones. ? And the fact I was able to stay in my jammies all day. And mimosas.
Yup. The mimosas!
Adorable, and of course she would use her kick board as her microphone!❤️
My favorite funny holiday moment was Christmas morning when I just finished doing my hair for the first time using a wand and loving the amazing volume when my three year old comes in saying “mom…you hair is UGLY!!!!”
My favorite memory is of a missing preseent. A few hours after all the gifts were opened, I realized I was missing a gift I wrapped for my husband. I spent over 30 minutes looking for it and digging through the trash bag of wrapping paper. Still couldn’t find it. I started to put my daughter’s presents away and picked up her new backpack. It felt a little heavy, I opened it and there was the missing present. I think she was trying to save one for later. We let her open it but she was very impressed with ice molds.
Sing it girl! I love it when kids sing around the house, we know for sure no one is sick or upset about someythis way.
My six year old said that this was “the best Christmas of [his] life!” Warmed my heart!
One of my favorite moments of the holiday was a quiet 15 minutes I got to myself to drink my tea and look out at the snow. I needed it before all of the wonderful craziness of family and friends and presents and eating starting!
My grandfather has no updated photos of me in his house so I decided to give him a frame with a new picture in it for the holidays. I didn’t have the chance to print one out yet so I just wrapped the frame for him. When he opened it he sat there confused, smiled politely and said did you dye your hair? He was looking at the picture of a completely different family the frame came with.
My favorite moment was hearing my 4.5 year old daughter say “It’s just what I wanted!” after every gift she opened!
My favorite moment was my 7 year old nephew scooting around the floor on a blanket with my 15 month daughter pretending to be on a magic carpet at grandmas house.
Funniest moment of Christmas was my nephew telling everyone he was good while we were playing a game when the point of the game was for people to think you might be bad.
Great idea and that was hilarious!! Most memorable this season was trying to assemble 7 kids and get them to sit still, smile and looking in the same direction just to get a decent family photo to surprise my mom in law with for Christmas! It was like herding cats!! It was all worth it! She was so happy she cried!
Love Harlow! This has been the best Christmas so far with my 5 yo, 3 yo, and 8 mo. My favorite memory has been watching my kids play with their cousins and form bonds that I know will last a lifetime!
My favorite moment was listening to my 11 year old nephew play jingle bells and other songs on his cello for the entire family.
So this was not my favorite Christmas, all the kids were (are!) super sick, so the Christmas spirit was pretty low key this year. Honestly, we made the last minute decision to get pizza delivered for Christmas dinner, (shoutout to our awesome local pizzeria!) had a picnic on the living room floor, watched movies, read new books, and played new games. It was quiet, unexpected, and totally my favorite moment of the weekend. 🙂
We celebrate Eid and last year was the first year we decided to actually buy gifts for the kids vs just giving them the traditional money. It was more fun watching them open these gifts, and it gave them more excitement of actually looking forward to a holiday and pay more attention to religion and customs. My youngest was just 15 months old and had started to learn how to shake her head. She was so in to playing with her picnic basket but yet she said no when we asked her if she liked it. I’m sorry I commented so long!

Favorite moment – seeing the excitement in my children’s eyes when theyou saw all the presents under the tree!
The most fitting incident this holiday season was waking up to my daughter sneezing on my face Christmas morning. Happy Holidays!
