This video asks one question to fifty people, half of them adults and half of them kids. The question is, “If you could change one thing about your body, what would it be?” As expected, the adults have a lot to say. They want everything from a smaller forehead to longer legs to bigger eyes.
The kids, are a little stumped by the question. At first. After much thought, they ask for things like mermaid tails, cheetah legs and wings.
I waited to post this because I wanted to ask Mazzy what she would say, but I forgot and now she is in school. Although, I’m pretty sure she would say Rapunzel hair or something.
If you ask your kid, let me know what they say in the comments below!
I want wings too. Or maybe gills. I love to swim. 🙂
I asked my 6 y/o daughter and she would like to change her voice, bevause she thinks, it doesn’t sound like a girl’s. Or maybe she’d like to be more flexible. She couldn’t decide.
Mermaid tail sounds awesome!
I was immediately upset when my 5-year old said “her belly”, but further elaboration meant she wanted it to be one big belly button because that would “look cool”. 🙂
My son isnt old enough to answer me(16 months) but i think he would say “I want to be taller so that he can always see what mommy and daddy are doing and get to the things that they out of my reach”
i say this because while we were cooking dinner tonight he would not let us put him down he wanted to see what was on the stove.
Someone should show this to Renee Zellweger…
My 3.5 year old said, “What did you say?” Then I explained the question further and he said, “Please change my calendar or my bones.” I don’t think he grasps the idea of changing anything yet. 🙂 Let’s hope he stays that way!
Imagine your typical tween tone of voice…
11-year-old daughter: What are you talking about?
Me: Just a question.
11-year-old daughter: Why?
Pause
11-year-old daugher: I don’t know.
Me in my head: I am confirming her notion that parents are losers.
What a beautiful video. Is it corny that it made me cry?
