Kids in the News: Weekly Round-up

Life After Inside Out

Inside Out has replaced Frozen as Mazzy and Harlow’s role playing game of choice. They have designated our characters and they are not up for discussion. Harlow is Joy, Mazzy is Disgust, Mike is Anger and I get to be Sadness.

Don’t Bring a Two-Year-Old to a Craft Tutorial

Mazzy and I tried to film a craft tutorial and Harlow derailed us before we even got past the intro— interrupting her sister, dropping the supplies and quacking. Yes, quacking.

Saying Goodbye to the City for the Summer

Last week, I packed up all the kids’ shorts, sunglasses and sandals and hightailed it out of NYC to our summer house on Long Island. We hired a sitter and I’m remembering what it’s like to work from home.

Mazzy Finishes Kindergarten
