I didn’t march on Saturday. We are currently away on vacation in Mexico and I feel a bit ashamed about that. But because I wasn’t there, I can attest that the power of the message reached far beyond those who marched. It was a historical day.

Thank you to all the Parkland students who organized, participated, marched and spoke for action and gun reform. For yourselves, for the older generations that haven’t been able to get it right and for the younger generations (like my kids) still blissfully unaware. You will change the world. If not today, than one day soon. My kids and my kids’ kids will be reading about you in their history books.

As a parent, I am forever grateful to you all.

Here are a few of the most powerful signs I saw:

Did you march on Saturday? What message did you take away from the experience?
