It’s time for the beast of all beasts— the Mommy Shorts 2014 Holiday Gift Guide! I say it’s a beast because I spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME scouring the internet for everything I think is worthy of the holidays. There are gifts for moms, gifts for dads, gifts for babies, and gifts for children who still can’t let go of their Frozen obsession (*cough cough* Mazzy and Harlow).
There are also a few sponsored items which each have Mommy Shorts holiday discount codes and will be part of the Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway at the bottom of this post.

My daughter, Jadeyn, needs Babiators. She is always asking for her “gasses” when we go outside because it’s too “bite”. She’s at an awkward head size so her baby glasses are too small but the big kids’ are too big. Rubber babiators would be perfect.
This may sound silly, but we had a tradition growing up where every kid got to pick out a new ornament for the tree, and that’s definitely the gift I’m most excited about this year. It’s my daughter’s first Christmas and I can’t wait to pick out her first ornament and continue the tradition with my new family.

I pinned it! This is an amazing list of gift ideas, great job!
An electric toothbrush, seriously, it’s what my 3 year old wants. I think it’s more to do with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles than actual dental hygiene.
I am excited to give my younger daughter her bath robe. Her sister got one for her birthday in October, and poor Emily has been dying to have one. For now she is wet, cold, naked and sad.

Santa will be bringing our 2nd born a fabulous new iPad 3. Just cause his baby sister took over his iPad mini 🙂 #nomorewhining #nomoresissyhasMYipad
This sounds super made-up, but now I’m most excited to give my daughter the sewing machine I just found in your guide – she’s going to love it, and I’m going to love her leaving my sewing machine alone!

I am most excited for my daughter to get her Frozen house. That and a Sven doll is all that she has been asking for. I have no idea what my 9 year old boy wants. I think I will get him the Disney Infinity Marvel set. He loves super heroes.
I LOVE the tattoo dolls idea. I am a tattooed mama and my kiddo and I play with tattoos all the time because he wants to be like mom! 🙂

Love, love the Quotable Kid book!
I pinned a pic to Pinterest!
Len I don’t have any experience with the Temperpedic products except that I slept on a mattress once and found it really hot, as in uncomfortably so. Wouldn’t actually want one for my own bed. They don’t breathe very well to my mind. To help with my allergy I put those pillow cases on that essentially don’t allow mites through because the weave is so tight. I think they are almost plasticky but not quite. I bought them at at local Linens chain store here in Portland but I’m sure they are available in Canada too.As to Bernie’s whereabouts…he is hanging out in Peterborough these days.
We love Baby Jack Blankets we’ll be giving a few as gifts for Christmas. They are the perfect baby gift.
We are getting our son, who will be 2 years old in January, the B. Toys teepee! He is getting to the age where he loves exploring, and this will be a new fun toy for him to hide and play in. Christmas is going to be so fun this year! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
I just pinned this post to Pinterest, too. Thanks for the tips!
I can’t decide which is my favorite because my daughter (4) isn’t asking for anything this year. I know she will be excited about her Anna and Elsa dolls and Anna cape. I am probably most looking for her use of a new chemistry set so we can have fun doing science experiments together. She has a blast with these, and it’s a great learning opportunity for both of us.
Pinned too. Great list!
So many new things for me to check out! Thank you!! I’m most excited about checking out BoomBoomPrints.

We’re a Lego family so I’m pretty excited about the new Lego Minecraft sets for our boys. We’re getting a lot of the Little People princess and superhero stuff for our daughter 🙂
Thank goodness my in-laws came through to help us out! Santa will be bringing my boys a play set for Christmas this year….the only thing they’ve both been talking about for MONTHS!

PS My fingers are crossed!
I’m most excited about a new pair of babiators!
Pinned! And my Pinterest username is Krennem.
I am most excited about the small gifts & ideas that our kids receive in an advent house. They look forward to it each year and it has become a tradition. They enjoy small trinkets or chocolates and sometimes the “elves” leave a strip of paper directing an activity (eg. purchase and donate toys, go for a walk in the neighbourhood to check out Christmas lights, decorate a gingerbread house). It is a great way to slow things down during the holidays and enjoy time together.
I really want to win this! I especially want to win the Mommy Shorts mug of course, because I will be the coolest mom in Abu Dhabi with a mug all the way from the best mommy blogger in the US 😀
I TWEETED IT! So going all out on this one

I pinned the “boredom” graphic; thank you!
I think I might order the book with my 4 month old daughter’s name on it! That will be special just for her to grow up with. Thanks for the idea Ilana!
Most excited to give my daughter her new toddler land of nod bedding. She only has another year or so of the age where boxes and packages are just as good as the toys, so I figured I’d take advantage and get her something I really wanted ; ) !!
I really want to get the BBQ for my don! Or the sweatshirt for my husband. :-). I love that. And I love the doormat! What to choose???
I am most excited about Trap Team because the boy has been talking about it for months!

My husband is a personal trainer and my 4yr old son loves to go to the gym with daddy. Every night when I go to my basement to exercise he wants to come with me and take a turn on the elliptical. I CAN’T WAIT for him to receive the kid-sized elliptical machine I found for him. And, plastic free weights to go with it! He’s going to die.

I am most excited to get my 22 month old son a toy kitchen & food set. He loves to “help” us cook so I can’t wait to see what he’ll whip up with his own imagination. Happy Holidays!
I’m most excited to give my boys knock hockey this year. I woke up at 3:40 in the morning to get it on lightning deals on amazon.

I’m most excited to give my daughter her first block set!
I’m very excited to give my girls tickets to Disney on Ice: Frozen along with a new Elsa dress and musical gloves to my oldest (age 4) and an Anna dress and doll to my youngest (age 18mos at Christmas). Cause hello how cute will it be to have them dressed up like that? Lol! Frozen might not be on every single day anymore but it still has a pretty strong hold on this household.
I just bought the Hape kitchen for my 2 year old son that insists on doing everything that Mommy does. I can’t wait until he big enough to cook me real food in the actual kitchen! He also asked me for his own vacuum

Super excited to get my 6yo a cool lego set to add to the ever-expanding collection, the 3yo a music set (he’ll be thrilled, I might need headphones), and the 4mo twins some adorable Hape wood baby toys. Christmas is so fun to watch through child eyes!!
