The Giants won, my voice is (for the most part) back and all seems fairly right with the world. So much so that I finally got it together and made the sixth episode of the Mommy Shorts Show.
I’ve lessened the volume on the music (per your request) but mainly, I’m still figuring this YouTube thing out— namely how to stop saying “ummmm” on camera.
Also? Pulling the screen grab of my frozen head for the thumbnail is one of the most painful exercises of my life.
Anyway— today I am rehashing Elmo’s birthday (a did that Elmo clip compilation I talked about last week), calling on Dan Akroyd for some baby celebrity lookalike help, and showing what happens when Mazzy gets her hands on Cookie Monster.

The music is still pretty loud. I’m trying to watch this while my kid is asleep, so my finger is resting on the volume control all the time, ready to turn it down when the music starts again. That’s kind of annoying.
Still, I really like the video. Especially the Exploding Elmo With Maniac Laughing In The Background Video. That’s just what I would sound like if I ever got the chance to make his head explode.

Just did an informal survey on twitter regarding the volume. Most say it’s fine with a couple more “a bit too loud”. Maybe I’ll try to bring it down another 10% and see what happens. Thanks for the feedback!
