Laura has recently decided to go back to school for her MBA and Wednesday evening is the night she has class. She describes rushing out the door as soon as her husband Tom comes home from work like “passing the baton in a relay race.”
Shira and Ariel live outside of Chicago with three kids. Shira is a corporate attorney and Ariel stays home with the kids. Shira wanted to participate in Wednesday Evenings to show “what’s possible when you put some faith in dads.”
Allison and Otis recently moved back to Chicago with their 2yo son after Otis ended his career in the NFL. Allison takes on a lot of the evening responsibilities while her husband studies hard for the Series 7 and the start of his second career.

Natasha and Matty are two full-time working parents from Boston who must compress quality family time into an hour and a half. Natasha says her evenings are hectic and tiring but the photos show lots of love and laughter.
Melissa and Jo live in Cambridge, Massachusetts with their two kids—3-year-old Harper and 13-month-old Elijah. They are the first two-mom family I am featuring in this series and I am very excited they volunteered to share their evening.
