Forgetfulness and motherhood go hand in hand, just like bath time and whining, laundry day and milk stains, bedtime routine and…wait, what were we talking about?

Oh yeah, forgetfulness! It probably has a lot to do with sleep deprivation, plus the distraction that comes from mentally juggling every doctor appointment and birthday party from now until our kids turn 18. They don’t call it Mom Brain for nothing.

That’s why, by the time you get to the end of the day, all you really want is something simple and easy to cook for dinner. You want to make something you know your kids will actually eat and that you can prepare in your sleep because you’ve made it a million times before.

A box of Mac & Cheese!

Except, as Deva Dalporto from My Life Suckers demonstrates, even the easiest of tasks isn’t always as easy as it should be. Check out Brain vs Mac and Cheese, and you’ll see that you’re not the only one picking the box out of the garbage to recheck the instructions.

I do it every time. I’m not even sure I can blame motherhood.
