Two cute babies playing with laptop

My weekly round-up scours the internet for the best stories relevant to the preschooler set. Or at least the parents of the preschooler set. This week’s kid news involves a hug, the cops and a toilet bowl full of pee.

1) dad steals wife’s urine to surprise her with her own pregnancy

Sam (one half of the vlogging couple Sam and Nia) suspected his wife was pregnant— she was two weeks late. So he did what any popular YouTube dad would do in this situation— he stole a sample of her urine (she doesn’t flush at night apparently), used it for a pregnancy test and then ambushed her and his kids in the kitchen (camera rolling, of course) to tell them they were expecting baby no. 3!

Congratulations! I’m sure that baby will give Sam and Nia endless material. Just don’t show me the contents of his diaper.

2) Three-year-old has a run-in with the law

Two three-year-olds on bikes collided in the park. Happens all the time, right? Only this time, the mom of one of the kids wasn’t playing and CALLED THE COPS. The cops arrived, assessed the situation and realized they had more important things to do. I wish they threw that three-year-old in jail to keep the streets safe for all the crazy parents out there!

3) Mark Zuckerberg announces he’s expecting a baby girl, on facebook of course

In addition to the birth announcement, Zuckerberg opened up about three miscarriages his wife suffered prior to this pregnancy. “Most people don’t discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you — as if you’re defective or did something to cause this. So you struggle on your own. When we started talking to our friends, we realized how frequently this happened — that many people we knew had similar issues and that nearly all had healthy children after all. We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well.”

Agreed.

4) baby will has no idea how to play it cool

Baby Will had a life changing experience. He hugged a girl. Then he squealed, smiled, jumped up and down and went back for more. Thankfully, the girl didn’t run away screaming.

5) Mazzy and Harlow Make it to Buzzfeed

Harlow may have ruined Mazzy’s craft tutorial, but at least she was entertaining enough to make it to Buzzfeed! Sisters come and go but Buzzfeed fame lasts forever, right?
